Search no more for a great French dip sandwich! yum that's how I felt about Abby's diner. Bragged to friends and family about the place. Finally got away with just my husband and we went to breakfast and I picked Abbys. Lil did I know that my server Kelli would turn on me so fast. She snapped at me and became very defensive and rude. Took me half the day to get over.I couldn't believe she would talk to me that way. I had cfs(country fried steak)and asked if she could ask the cook to put a lil extra gravy. When the food came. It seemed that there was less gravy. So I asked for more and she got some. The bill came and there was a small xtra charge for more gravy. I questioned the need for the charge. Calmly,I add. And she started saying I have to charge. I'm like but there wasn't enough. She said i brought more, you put it all over your food!i watched you! I'm like um, no you didn't. You don't know what i did. At this point, it was just getting stupid. And i was insulted and made to feel un important, in a family restraunt. Which I've spent alot of my money there, not anymore. I'm done with Abbys , thanks Kelli.I called the manager Ben and he listened and apologized and said he'd talk to her, but really, offered no real resolution of the insulting server. Besides it's not him that owed me an apology. If you go to Abbys, good luck hope you don't get a flip flop moody waitress that obviously didn't care about listening to her customers or getting a tip. And don't question your bill at all because she's watching you eat and sees everything you do with your food, I guess. Lol I guess at a lil diner you can get away with talking any rude way you want, it would never fly in a...

Read moreI am a senior with a small dog. I am disabled and have a service dog. The waitress (blond long hair) was rude, disrespectful and condescending and went as far as harassment. The issue was my little service dog. She explained the restaurant policy on service dogs having to be on the floor. I compiled and proceed to put her under the table. I then requested another server because of her biligerent attitude. She did get another server and told her the situation from her perspective. The "other" server did not seem pleased, but obliged to be my server. The original server followed me to the cash register area, harrassing me about carrying my dog to the point I was having an anxiety attack. I tried to leave as soon as possible, but she would not stop and said, "you should order-out your food next time." I've been a customer for years and have brought my family to your restaurant, enjoying a healthy environment, with great servers. I understand the frustration of this server with my dog. This was the second time I walked in and had the dog sit next to me, but I was willing to cooperate. I'm a senior and takes me a while to get settled in. I am a retired psychologist and professor. Also, worked with various judges. I'm familiar with the legalities in these matters, therefore, hopefully, the owner will address this matter...
