Adalberto's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in California

As everyone knows I am a big fan of Adalberto's. But tonight I am rather disappointed.😒 I ordered my usual Taco Salad with shredded beef, extra sour cream & guacamole.🍲To my disappointment it was sloppily prepared. Instead of the shredded beef that I ordered..I got pork!🐷 WHERE'S THE BEEF?🔎🐮 I need a spoon to eat this!! Too messy for a fork!! I am very dissatisfied!😤I can & will say that this Adalberto's has lost me as a customer...& may I reccommend that you send your employees to "shadow" & "learn" the proper way to run a restaurant to the Adalberto's at the Madison & Dewey location? I have been a loyal customer & fan there since they first opened. And I am proud to say that not once have they ever misdone my order! Also learn some manners as to customer service. Nobody likes a rude inattentive employee!! I am adding to my review because Adalberto's gave me a free taco salad in offense to their mishap. This time I am very pleased to say that it was "Superb"! It was the most beautiful creative artistically taco salad that I ever received from Adalbertos. Almost too pretty to eat! It was made to perfection! The shell was fried to a beautiful crist. Topped with just the right amount of beans, rice, beef, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole topped off with pico de gallo & green salsa. I am proud to admit that I found the beef!! And it was SUPERBLY DELICIOUS!! I give big udos to Adalbertos for doing right ! I am still a big fan. And I will be coming back!! I am posting pics of the delicious...

I'll start by saying the food is pretty good, as well as the prices. However, I wanted to bring this to the attention of management. I don't know if employees can't hear well when you order, but I'm getting wrong orders almost every time in the drive thru. I like burritos a lot, but without certain ingredients, like pico. I made it clear at the time of my order that I wanted EVERYTHING in the burrito but not pico. When I come back home, I notice the burrito isn't as big as usual...Well, they gave me only the meat and rice 🤣 and I'm not going back, so I let it go. I only took the time once to bring situations like this to them on the phone...Other times we order a side of something, we don't check the bag while at the window, and when we're home, we verify something we ordered isn't there (thank God they didn't charge for it either). Last experience, was that we ordered a side of FRIES and again, we didn't care of checking, but we got a side of RICE instead🤣...I may sound mean when I ask them to repeat the order over and over again for me to see if they got it right, but 🤷🏻‍♀️ PLEASE...

I frequent this location often and while they are usual great, I have a few qualms with them.  Everytime you order a salad, a nacho or even a burrito with a shredded meat you have to drain them. Today I ordered a super nacho with beef and by the time I got home (less then 10 min) I didn't have a single dry chip.  I drained my "nacho" and it ended up having over a 1/4 cup of beef broth. If I wanted soup I would have ordered the menudo.  I also requested them to not add pico and it seems they added extra. This is the second time I have had an issue with them in a few years but there staff needs to learn to drain the meats before putting in on the menu item.

Soggy food is difficult to eat and completely ruins the dining experience when you have to eat tortilla soup with extra pico de gallo instead of the nachos you ordered

If they continue the same practices, they should at the least offer the patron a spoon instead of the fork.
