Bamboo House — Restaurant in California

This appears to be an older mom and pop joint, both hustling to prepare and package food. I wish I could give a higher score after seeing that, but, the Hong Kong fried noodles with 3 kinds of protein and vegetables was pretty much tasteless.

Generous portion of noodles however the sauce was so bland. Tasted like watered down oyster sauce with no other flavoring. God, does any chinese restaurant have tasty, fresh food anymore? I can't find any. Bamboo House had lots of reviews and a 4.6 overall rating on google so I tried it while visiting...

A friend of ours showed us this place last week for lunch, we went with our kids who are usually picky eaters. We ordered the orange chicken, white rice, chicken fried rice, potstickers, chow mein and sweet and sour soup. Everything that I ate was delicious as well as filling, the portions are so much more than other places I've eaten at so good luck. My kids also loved eating here, definitely coming back. The food wasn't all that great. There is a really rude woman that completely ignored me to go hug a regular customer. I was at the restuarant before him and she just took my credit card, then got a seat for the regular, got him drinks, and asked how his day was in front of me. Then she ran my credit card, started talking to the regular again, I waited for a few minutes, handed me my card, said thank you really fast, then she started to talk to the regular customer.......horrible service..... I'm never...
