Carl’s Jr – Watt Ave This isn’t a fast food joint—it’s a case study in urban decay with combo meals. The food was an afterthought: cold, limp, and indifferent, like it knew better than to try. The employees were polite, which honestly made the rest of the experience feel even more surreal—like finding a smiling barista inside a war zone.
While I waited in the drive-thru, a full-blown SWAT raid unfolded right in front of me. No exaggeration—15+ people fled the scene, scattering like it was a live episode of Cops. A car full of young Black men was arrested. A prostitute lingered by the speaker like she was waiting for her order. And the lot? Crawling with “tricks” doing slow laps, eyes scanning, windows half down. I half expected David Attenborough to narrate.
This location doesn’t feel unsafe—it feels post-apocalyptic. Corporate should be ashamed. They’re still slinging burgers while pretending their franchise isn’t the epicenter of something broken. If this is what Carl’s Jr calls “business as usual,” it’s time to shut the lights off and call it.

Read moreDuring my recent visit to Carl's Jr, I encountered some issues with the app-based offer for a free sandwich. Although I downloaded the app as instructed by the manager, Connie, I encountered an error message stating that the location was not accepting orders. When I brought this to Connie's attention, she explained that there was nothing she could do to rectify the situation.

In light of these concerns, I have decided not to patronize Carl's Jr. in the future. Nevertheless, I respectfully suggest that the owner of this establishment consider replacing the current manager, as it appears that her performance may not be aligned with the responsibilities...
Read moreI ordered my food it drive-thru it was read back to me correctly when I got up to the window to pay it was the general manager helping me. She asked me if I'd like ketchup for my French fries and I said yes and everybody was polite and courteous. I pulled away to start eating my hamburger and it was completely wrong with the things I asked to be removed still there and the things that I wanted not on it. I had no ketchup for my French fries and they were cold. Good thing I didn't get on the freeway before I noticed this but I shouldn't have to turn around and go back and go in the store to get my order correct. General manager tried to help me in the store but every time I told her what I wanted she repeated it wrong. Then the other girl tried to hand me my sandwich would not give me my French fries back. Eventually I got everything correct and got on my way but it was 25 minutes I didn't need to waste to come...
