Curry Express Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

Pulled up to this spot on our way to Tahoe after hearing some solid hype, and it did not disappoint!

Grabbed a few dishes to try out for the fam. Kids got Chicken Tikka Burger Combo with mint yogurt. It was delish and kids loved it! Wifey is rocking the vegetarian life this year so she went with Gobi Manchurian and it was perfect with crisp and unreal flavor, I took a major bite too and loved it also. I went with good old chicken which was straight up winner choice for me of other wings I tried in other places.

We Wrapped the lunch with some paneer balls, and man, those were the perfect cherry on top.

Vibes were super friendly and welcoming, food was top-tier, and manager Ravneet even came by to check on us - super cool dude. Our kids were a little loud and for a second we thought he was gonna say something, but he welcomed us with smile and made sure we were having a great experience.

Visited for lunch. The woman who took our order was very kind and passionate about her job, but they were running daycare of some kind in the back as there were screaming children behind the counter the entire 30 minutes we were there. They were out of two dishes we attempted to order and offered very limited beverage choices.

We went next door to Subway to get beverages. Our order took more than 10 minutes to be served. Not exactly "express" (and it was just two of us). My chicken tikka masala was flavorful but had uncooked bell pepper and red onion throughout. The garlic naan had zero garlic. Not impressed but I really wanted to be because of the woman who tried her best to make us happy.

She asked if everything was ok as we left, but the screaming children had us making a beeline for the door so we simply nodded. So sorry!!! I would have given you an honest opinion but couldn't stand the...

We (my 5yr old son & I) visited Curry express and we had a VERY pleasant experience. Sandeep is friendly, down to earth and hospitable. We enjoyed the service as well as the conversation. We will order from Curry express as much as possible. We hope to frequent this place and to continue to have enjoyable experiences at Curry express with the wonderful staff. I suggest that all people give this restaurant a lunch or dinner visit and wow your taste buds with enjoyable foods cause son son & I loved the flavor & will eat there again. Plus the service was quick and is in convenient location.
