I got the Chicken fried steak and realized instantly just how mushy it was. I understand that their customers are 99% old people probably without any teeth but damn im 15 and lets just say my teeth can work well... The chicken fried steak itself didnt resemble any single chicken fried steak i had ever seen in my life. It was square and looked like a diabolical amalgamation of ground chicken shaped into a patty. it was so mushy to the point where I could likely blow air on it and have it decrease into itself. I didn't even need the knife they gave me for the steak. Also my family's mexican/hispanic and I swear when i walked in some old lady mean mugged me instantly(maybe cause of my long hair but this doesnt matter). Waiters were incredibly nice though and a lot of the other old people looked chill. I wouldn't come back though. I'll stick with black bear diner. eggs were decent and the hashbrowns were decent as well but I couldn't finish the biscuits smothered in gravy that I had gotten with the combo. That white gravy...

This was my third time eating here and I must say I am very disappointed. The only thing good was the young man who waited on us. My aunt got the chicken fried steak because it came recommended from a friend. It was disgusting she couldn’t even eat it. I tried a piece of it and spit it out immediately. When my aunt went up to pay it was the owner who rang her up, she politely told him the chicken fried steak was not very good and she wasnt able to eat it. His response was oh really and just shrugged his shoulders at her.

You would think as owner he would of asked her the reason why she didn’t like it. But nothing. She wasn’t looking for free meal she paid her bill. They need to learn better customer service.
