Denny's — Restaurant in California

I wish I remembered the name of the waitress that helped me. She was amazing! It’s been years since I’ve went to Denny’s and it’s not the first place that comes to mind when I think of establishments that offer breakfast. I received a birthday deal which entitled me to a free breakfast, so I decided to go. Besides, who doesn’t love free things? I enter the restaurant, I explained that I got a birthday offer for a free breakfast to a woman standing at the front, she immediately seats me at a table, and takes my order which she served within minutes. Besides the free breakfast, I ordered a cup of coffee which wasn’t included in the offer. As I’m eating, the woman frequently checks up on me to make sure everything is okay which was very nice of her. My meal was as expected, mediocre but fulfilling. I complete my meal and go to the front to check out. I end up speaking to the same woman. She rings me up but for some reason the coupon I had wasn’t working. She attempts to process the transaction several times with the coupon but each attempt failed. She eventually tells me not to worry about it. I told her I still need to pay for the coffee and I asked if she was sure everything would be okay because I didn’t want her to get in trouble but she insisted. I was hoping she would charge me for the coffee so I can leave her a decent tip electronically for the five star service she provided me with. We go to various Denny's and some are good, others not so great. This location is excellent! We randomly stopped in as we were in the area. As soon as we arrived, the staff was attentive and seated us in Rosa's section. In moments of sitting down, Rosa offered us water, menus and coffee. The coffee was hot, fresh and delicious (not all Denny's coffee is created equal!). The food was very good, tasted more home cooked then sent out from a high turn kitchen such as a Denny's. The highlight of this visit, Rosa! She is so incredibly attentive, not hovering over your table, just aware of needs, such a top off of coffee, giving you time to really start experiencing your meal then asking how is everything. Rosa, you were the delight of our morning!! Keep doing the incredible job do you do every day, as your level of service is amazing!!! Mind you, this was a busy time at this Denny's and the staff there seemed to perform like clockwork, no one hanging back. Everyone engaged and so attentive. There are a lot of Denny's (and other breakfast places) in San Diego county, but I'd seriously make the 15 min drive from my house to eat here again. Had a pick up order here. I did Mobil pick up in my car. Never tried that before - so my email told me it will be ready at this time/ waited in my car. (At the pick up spot) Nobody came out with my food. Walked inside saw my food on the table under not under a heat lamp. Got my order told the short manager that iv been waiting in my car. That I put down the Description of my car on the online site. All the manger said was “oh “so I left, he was not doing nothing about it... Drove back to my job noticed that my food was missing the extra ingredients I paid for. I tried calling them 4בS 1-minute apart from each other and the phone was on do not disturb went to voicemail. I did leave a voicemail with my name and phone number and reason for my call. Nobody called back. I did call back an hour later the new manager was on duty he got on the manager that was working at that time. He tells me why do you call an hour later. I told him I did try four times listen to your voicemails I left you a voicemail at 1:08. Did not return my call your phone was on do not disturb.
