Donkey J's Deli — Restaurant in California

Stopped in here for a Sandwich, and ended up with a Sandwich, chips and a Frappacino :) All of which were quite good. I had the Pastrami and it was hot and had just enough spice imo. My wife had the French Dip and it had a good beefy flavor. The Au Jus was full of flavor, so much so that I dipped my daughter's turkey sandwich in it :) The Frappacinos were good, probably could have a little more coffee flavor, but that's really just looking for a complaint.

I was recently introduced to this local family deli through a friend of mine. Let's start with the family, amazing humans right here. They are friendly and so welcoming. I’ve been here twice and both time came away disappointed. Prices are about standard where you’d find anywhere else but the quality just isn’t quite there. The coffee my wife and I ordered took almost 15 minutes (only customers in the building) to prepare what tasted like what you get a hotel lobby. While our coffees were being made you can hear the lady getting angry at the man working in the back. The place feels gross with dust everywhere. Over all just very...
