El Forastero Méxican Food — Restaurant in California

I seriously went into this place thinking to spend 30 bucks on a modest meal consisting of their burrito, 3 lengua' taco's and a baby burrito...

Let's address the fact that a baby burrito they offer to children is enough fiber to keep a baby burro fed for a day, I swear to la madre de todos los hombres, that burrito weighed 3 pounds of bean and cheese the size of my forearm!!

Then to the next topic: Those lengua taco's. They were the size of a bears paw. Or the size of a small rim from a car. Or the size of a cantaloupe. The juiciness to flavor ratio of the lingua was so perfect, the flavor was so subtle yet robust; the thought of this review causes my entire mouth to salivate. It would make Enrique olvera weep tears of joy at the thought of their lengua

The burrito pictured: I couldn't even defile with my previously engorged mouth, my wife had to take the baton-urrito, after fighting for hours to finish even two thirds of this exquisite and flavor packed wrecking ball, she tapped out, admitting defeat to the most savage burrito in all the land.

And the staff, they wittingly knew what I asked for, obliged and saw us get ravaged by our ignorance, had I known before just what I entrapped my family into, I would have settled for a single burrito.

The cashier tried to rob me. I always come here for the carne asada fries every few weeks but im not coming here again. I went through drive through and ordered the fries, total was 12.77. I had a 20 so i gave her 22.77 because i dont like small change. I expected a 10 back but she just gave me a reciept. She then gave me my fries and didnt say anything so i asked her "wheres my change?" She realized i knew i gave her a 20 but still played it dumb. I said i gave her 22.77 but she pretended to be confused. I gave the fries back and said give me my refund. She gave me $8 back, I said I gave her 22.77 again. I gave her back the $8 then she gave me back 12.77. I told her another time I gave her 22.77. Realizing she wasnt going to steal my money today, she gave me back my money. I question the integrity of this restaurant because there was no manager/boss to talk to and I do not know if she was told to...

I was out picking up my dry cleaning and some other errands and was returning home after 6 p.m. and didn't want the task of fixing dinner, so I decided on El Forastero instead. I used the drive-through to order. However, they didn't have the combination dinner I requested in my order, but the employee suggested that she could combine the entrees requested. The price was compatible with the other combination plates, so I agreed to her suggestion. After arriving home and going through my rituals of sitting down and eating dinner, I was impressed with the amount of food as well as the condiments included. After portioning half to a plate and Frankensteining it up with the condiments supplied and those of my own creation.
