El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in California

Don’t go here avoid this place. I grabbed a burrito from this place about two weeks ago and the next day, my stomach hurt and felt like it was burning and then I spent the next week breaking out with hives all over my body and they would itch. They would wake me up at night itching, and I couldn’t sleep all because that burrito I noticed that it was not good as I was eating, but I was so hungry and I just ate it along with a piece of breast also the breast was dry flavorless. It’s crazy because when this Pollo Loco first opened, they had really good quality and now it’s just crappy and I got food poisoning from this...

Feb 18th, ordered double chip tostada salad and a chicken crunchy taco. The salad had zero chicken and taco was good. Called a couple times but no answer. Today, called to let them know about salad and wanted a comped salad. Ordered the salad and two crunchy chicken tacos. Got home. the tacos were horrible ( extremely small amount if one sliver of dry chicken pieces). This isn’t the first time food wasn’t desirable but needed to say something today. RS Ranch doesn’t have many food places to eat at. I will start going back to El Pollo Loco in Carmel Mountain for...

For a chicken place, the chicken served to all left much to desire. The chicken pieces on all the plates were minuscule and dry. And the vegan option for one of those in my party is no longer available... 'Order the double chicken and avocado salad, minus the chicken' it was suggested... You should have seen the salad produced... And the pieces of avocado... Sad.

Very disappointed. Will not be returning....
