KFC — Restaurant in California

I’m so disappointed after being a resident of Elk Grove for 26 years and never had any of the fast food places do this. I ordered a meal that should have cost me under $14 dollars. The supervisor told me the price at the pick up window and I handed him my card. I drove off and realized that he didn’t get the order right so I turned around and came back. I drove back through the drive thru and at the order board told the same supervisor who helped me that the order was given to me incorrectly. They told me to pull forward. When I got to the window a different person was helping me at the window and I can see the supervisor who helped me first hiding behind the window even though he didn’t know I could see him, but I didn’t say anything. As I returned the food through the window the employee asked me did I touch the food and I told him yes. I looked and he put the food bag in the food area with the other chicken to give the food to someone else, instead of him throwing the food out. A couple of hours after getting home I checked my bank and noticed I was over charged for my food. The supervisor charged me more money than he told me and this was done on purpose. He thought I returned because he over charged me and that’s why he was hiding, but at the time I had only returned because the order was incorrect. I had no idea that he over charged my card.

You can tell that the supervisor has done this to a lot of people and this wasn’t his first time. When people do this running a register they are pocketing the difference from your payment. He never provided me a receipt.

I’m extremely disappointed that you can’t even trust people in public places with your credit card. Let alone make sure that you are getting fresh food that wasn’t returned from another customer. He needs to be fired for doing this. This is fraud and against the...

Horrible people. My wife and I went to buy 16pcs chicken via the drive through last Sunday. We even decided to just get the meal instead of just the chicken. At home, we realized they only gave us 12pcs halfway through the meal. My wife called and spoke with a server named EVANGELINE. She said if we bring the chicken bucket back UNTOUCHED, then they will replace it. I wonder if this moron uses some sort of xray glasses that she expects us to count the chicken without actually opening and taking the chicken out and just looking at the bucket. I swear common sense is something she seemed to have outgrown and left at childhood. So she passed us to her Assistant Manager RACHEL who is also equally stupid and who seemed to have left her manners at home. With so much attitude, she said she personally counted the chicken herself. I guess KFC promote people who can't count. Maybe she needs to go ask her grade school teacher that 12 is different from 16. And to cap it off, someone, more than likely that moron EVANGELINE, spoke in the background that we ate all the chicken and we are just looking to get extra 4 piece of chicken. What kind of employee do this restaurant employ? No common sense and no people skills at all. Just passing through on a Burney Falls road trip. Stopped here and was immediately impressed. There was a lady at the counter with a smile and ready to take our order. We wanted to make adjustments to our order and it didn’t seem to bother her a bit. We walked to the dining area and the restaurant was just so clean. Our order was ready and EVERY EMPLOYEE had a smile on their face. I could tell they were genuinely happy and enjoyed working here. NOW I say all this because I live near Oakdale Ca. Everyone I know avoids that KFC like the plague. It’s dirty, employees are rude, and your order is never what you ask for. 8579 Elk Grove KFC should be the University for all KFC’s. Oh… and even the bathroom was spotless. This is definitely a 5 star KFC…. From customer service, excellent food, extremely clean dining area, and spotless bathroom. Just a delightful stop all...
