Cheese Steak Restaurant — Restaurant in California

As someone who has went here many a time with friends, and on my lunch break due to the vicinity from where I work… I gotta say I am a bit sad by this. The usual guys I see in the evening to night shifts make a bomb $&!@ Cheesesteak. But on the rare occasion I had a morning shift, I had the opportunity to visit the shop for my early day lunch, but man o man… this was just bad. The tall and skinny old guy with glasses just !$&@?% up my classic philly and he didn’t wear any gloves when making and touching my food. The beef was literally boiled since the grittle wasn’t hot so it was not seared at all, barely any cheese, no seasoning… at all… a little salt would’ve made it better since it was that bland. Least the onion rings are good. But if I’m gonna spend around $40 expecting the usual god-like food the evening and night crew makes for me and my coworker, I’d rather not get whatever this is… 3 stars since honestly it’s a die toss on whoever can actually cook. I recently visited Cheese Steak Restaurant in Elk Grove, and I have to say, I was blown away by the food and the service! The 100% Halal Chicken Philly was absolutely delicious - tender, juicy chicken, perfectly cooked onions and peppers, and just the right amount of cheese. And the onion rings were crispy and flavorful, the perfect side dish to complement the sandwich. But what really stood out to me was the excellent service - Kamran, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. He was attentive, friendly, and took great care of me throughout my meal. Horrible experience I ordered a sandwich from them today and had it delivered see no as I was stuck at work and couldn’t leave. I got my sandwich and it was made completely wrong. I called and they offered to remake it for me so I just went in to pick up the corrected sandwich. First off I asked for ranch and was given a huge attitude stating they could only give me one for a 15 inch sand which I’m ok I was more then happy to pay for extra the supervisor was extremely rude about it. Upon opening my sandwich there was very little meat and the cheese was no where to be found. There restaurant itself is dirty tables a greasy and disgusting.
