La Estrella Tacos & Seafood — Restaurant in California

Bought 4 “hard shell” Asada tacos with a side of beans and rice, they had pictured and advertised authentic oiled fried taco shells. While I waited I saw them look at me and laugh as something was funny and now looking at what they gave me I KNOW WHAT WAS FUNNY. The order came up SUPER FAST, suspiciously fast. Got to finally look at it, they gave me Taco Bell, store bought packaged TACO SHELLS.😑 CHEAP as HELL! The rice and beans were SUCH A SMALL PORTION I don’t even know WHY they even bother of putting them on my dish. 4 tacos a side of beans and rice all for 15 DOLLARS?!??!!!! No there are WAY BETTER MEXICAN restaurants that sell ACTUAL AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD in Manteca , this establishment and franchise is NOT ONE OF THEM. Located in the Raleys center, I dropped for a quick lunch. Seeing that all the patrons were hispanic, I was hopeful... uh, no... Walk up counter to order and they will bring your meal to you. They will give you a basket of chips and there are many dips and other sauces to pick from. I tried their wet burrito. It's big for $14 (as of this review). Unfortunately this was rather flavorless. I added some of the hot sauce from my chips to help. Inside the burrito I encountered several stones from the beans and also a couple chicken "knuckles" which is a total turn off to have to deal with. You know, when you realize it's in your mouth and have to get it out of your mouth without breaking a tooth. Not good.... There are soooo many Mexican restaurants and food establishments in Manteca, I would think this place...

I purchased a burrito with geen salsa and no onion. I was give a regular burrito. When I called the employee Amerika stated the cook messed up my order. They have a new cook who has been messing up all day, she stated it was not my problem or her problem it was the cooks problem and she couldn't do anything. I asked to speak with a manager and she said the manager was not there I asked when will the manager be there she said she didn't know. I asked when can I expect a call back she said she didn't know she does not know when the manager works. I asked for a refund she stated they don't do card refunds only cash refunds. I told her I work in Manteca so I can go by a different day she said she couldn't do that. So apparently I was given a burrito that I will not eat and they cannot and will not do anything...
