Bean & Leaf Cafe — Restaurant in California

These guys are the best!! I went there this morning to grab some breakfast for me and my daughter. She wanted the pesto turkey sandwich and I decided to try the same one. When I brought the food home, my daughter saw that there were tomatoes in it (she hates tomatoes and obviously isn’t familiar with pesto sandwiches, lol) and was upset, saying she didn’t see it in the image on the menu. So Dad made it right by going back and explained everything to the gentlemen who were working. They went way above and beyond by making a new one without the tomatoes and didn’t charge me!! I was prepared to pay for it because it wasn’t their fault! They were extremely kind and professional. You just don’t get that kind of service anywhere anymore. I will definitely continue to be a loyal customer.

I have to be honest, the prices get me sometimes. But you know what? If I’m hungry, I’m going there. At least I know I’ll get fresh, quality food with awesome customer service. I more than recommend this place. It’s family-friendly too. There’s definitely something for everyone.

A little funny side note: I couldn’t remember the correct name one time, while making a suggestion to my wife and daughter, and asked if they wanted Leaf Litter Cafe.🫣 They stuck the name to me since then and we all get a good laugh (at my expense, lol) every now and then. I actually have Bean & Leaf Cafe’s name in my contacts as “Leaf Litter”. I happen to like leaf litter because it reminds me of the autumn season.😁

Anyway, get to Bean & Leaf Cafe, people! You definitely won’t regret it. Oh, be very patient while waiting. They’re putting love and care into that food you’re going to enjoy and you will literally taste it.

Sorry, one more thing: their pesto turkey sandwiches blow the ones Starbucks sells out of the water!! Not hating, just...

I had a fantastic experience. The barstas were extremely nice. Tina, my barsta was extremely polite and well mannered. And was attentive to my order. My whole thing is that they make fresh Thai tea every day! And let me tell you that stuff is fantastic. They got some good quality coffee, too, if that's your thing as well. It's around six bucks for a large, which isn't bad at all. This little mom and pop store takes a moment out of time and gives you nostalgia. Especially with the rustic modern vibe that it gives off. That just makes you wanna sit there all day and drink coffee. This is such a wonderful coffee place. What can I say that hasn’t been said about this hidden gem tucked away in Raleys shopping plaza? I’ve been going there for many years and it just keeps getting better and better with time. Heather the owner/operator does a great job at keeping the food fresh and making her customers happy. If you have not eaten here you are missing out on great home made food. Breakfast is great they have a selection of fresh steel oats or bacon & eggs on a croissant! Coffee is always fresh and you can’t go wrong with a homemade concoction from Heather or her sister Erica.
