Las Delicias Sport Taqueria — Restaurant in California

I’ve had Las Delicias once before for takeout, not realizing it was the same place I recently visited in person—what gave it away? Their rich, creamy, and flavorful salsas, especially the yellow one. It’s unbelievably creamy and packed with flavor!

So far, I’ve only tried their tacos—carne asada, pollo, and cabeza—and each one was next-level. The cabeza tacos in particular blew me away. I had two… then went back for two more. That says it all!

The staff is wonderful—genuinely kind, welcoming, and you can feel the pride they take in everything they do. The place is spotless inside and out, including the bathrooms. I love that you can see them cooking behind glass—it gives you complete confidence in the cleanliness and quality of the food.

They also have a great outdoor patio and an impressive variety on the menu. I’m excited to go back and slowly try everything. The owners are clearly hands-on, and it shows in every bite and every interaction. Quality, flavor, and customer service are top-tier.

They also do catering—which makes perfect sense given how busy they are and how many rave reviews they’ve earned.

I called to order an asada burrito. On the way to pick up my burrito i found out that we lost a close family friend so i had been on facetime upon walking in. Nevertheless i greeted the person at the register told him i came for my order. It was already ready but when i hand him the 15$ he answered the call for another order. And he couldnt multi task. So im like “i know you are working but i have to return to work”. He ignored me but when i raised my voice he had the nerve to argue that i was on the phone when i walked in like he knew that i wasnt on the phone with someone about a death. I was traveling and stopped by the restaurant to get a taco. There was a line at the restaurant so I told the cashier that I was going to order but needed to use the restroom first. She said, That I had to wait my turn in line and pay for the order before she would give me the code to the restroom. That was extremely rude and untrustworthy of people. Terrible service. I was so angry that I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere. I will never go back into another one of these restaurants again because of the way that I was treated. I would much rather pay more and go to another place. Then eat where a business has such lack of faith in humanity. All around...
