Subway — Restaurant in California

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I was treated poorly as a paying customer. I’m 4 months pregnant and was denied the right to use the restroom and was told to go elsewhere to do so. The employee was VERY nonchalant and the least empathetic. I would NEVER spend a dollar at any of the subway fast food chains because of this. This was my first and last experience. What a bad impression. I asked for the manager and he denied me that right to escalate the chat, he then said that I couldn’t use the restroom due to the fact that they didn’t want to be exposed to Covid. There was a woman in the back that heard all of this and did nothing. She came out after we left. They were just eager to clean and shutdown the store. They were not focused on customer service or just being decent human beings. All public businesses have restrooms for paying customers especially for disabled or pregnant persons even during the pandemic. I’m pregnant for Christ sake. I’m healthy as an ox. Unbelievable that he’s so worried about Covid exposure but that same employee was cleaning when we entered the store and didn’t wash his hands before making sandwiches—- he just threw on gloves which isn’t standard protocol. Who’s to know if those gloves were clean with such unhygienic practices...

This location is close to my home. At approximately 5 pm I called the store directly to confirm the soup of the day - broccoli-cheddar. I said I would be there in an hour, would they still have some. I was told emphatically, YES. So I pop on over at 6 pm. Guess what? Nothing but chicken noodle. This location never has the soup of the day. I have stopped by in the morning, around 11 am - no soup. 1 pm - no soup. 4 pm - no soup. The sign is up but no one is home . . . Now I will try the other locations in the area. This place is never getting another dime from me. Some of the employees are very nice and some are downright rude. I am a really nice person and intensely dislike posting anything negative. This time I feel it is warranted. Most people would have moved on long before I...

The worker I think she is the manager or the one in charge for the day, completely rude to not only myself, another customer infront of me she was an old lady and also yelled at her co worker for not making the sandwich correctly, I felt bad and almost said something but I didn’t, watching everything I should have just left, you do not be little your co worker especially infront of customers, reason why I stopped going to that subway, horrible,...
