Worst experience at a Starbucks ever! I was filming in the area yesterday and being a huge Starbucks fan (I go on a daily basis) I suggested a coffee run for my department. I get there and order 4 venti special drinks and mine a Venti Java Chip w/ add shot of esspresso, only one pump base, one pump mocha, I get this drink all the time. I didn't taste test it because Ive never had a problem and headed back to set, well the drink was way overly sweet, it must of had the regular amount of sugar in it, you can imagine the disappointment when you pay for a $6 drink and you can't even drink it, so I had to leave work again to go get the drink changed. When I got back to Starbucks I was not greeted at all, I just stood at the register for a good 3 minutes before this RUDE, tall, sassy male with dark hair, college kid or teen, young, morning shift between 9a and 10:30a which was when I visited, when he finally came around I simply told him the issue with the drink and he smirked and took it, I asked if maybe they could blend in an espresso shot and he was like oh no, I'm already giving you a free drink if you want an add shot, you have to pay for that, I was DUMBFOUNDED, I PAYED for it already bringing it to to get Re-made, he thought he was doing me a favor, his attitude sucked, I said no I already payed for the drink so its not free, a girl overheard, gave a solution, made the drink with the added shot, then he says is that all you wanted and I said no I'd like to order another drink for our Director a vent caramel macchiato frapp and he immediately said no because Starbucks doesn't make that drink in a blended form that people mistake it all the time for just a caramel frappe and I know exactly what the Director ordered, but again the kid was just NO, no solution, no suggestion, no how about I make an Iced Caramel Macchiato and blend it, he just refused to give any options, I was flustered because I knew what the Director ordered but yet from this kid I could not get it, and he was so rude and said well when you figure it out I'll come back and take the order, as I tried to call to see if Iced was ok but there was no reception in the building at set, so I just went with iced instead of blended because blended to this guy was just not an option. At the end I asked for 1 sticker as like I said I go to Starbucks pretty much DAILY and I like to get my stars or any points for any promotions you guys have and Shocker he said No haha because I did not order a plain Iced coffee or tea, I told him he was rude and walked out, never mind my trouble of having to leave work to drive back down to have my drink re-made, couldn't get the other drink order the way I wanted it and then said no yet again for one little sticker. THIS GUY NEEDS TO BE TRAINED CORRECTLY OR FIRED, HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE AWFUL! He at no point made me feel comfortable or at ease, he escalated my frustrations with his favorite word NO and not coming up with any solutions for a valued customer, thank God that Starbucks is not my only option, geeze! I really wish I would have stopped to talk to the manager but I had already took so much time away from set I needed to get back and was just going to call in but I got slammed with work and so I'm writing in now and will call in my...
Read moreI was extremely dissatisfied with the way this place treats their own employees. I was in the other day and ordered my drink and had some free time to sit and observe how poorly one of the employees was treated. I had ordered my drink from a very nice young lady who had an amazing attitude; I believe her name was sarah. My grief hadn't started until I had observed how rudely the manager ignores this young lady. I am hurt by seeing another working person intentionally ignore someone who is trying their hardest to learn some new things, especially when this lady who is ignoring her looks like some kind of manager. I cannot believe how a great place like Starbuck's would have such inconsiderate staff, let alone, management team. I have never seen this before at any location I've been to and would hope that saying something would make things easier on the nice worker who had charged me...
Read moreSecond worst customer service of any Starbucks I have ever visited. They served me coffee that wasn't even warm enough to call "warm." When I told the barista the coffee was cold, he told the supervisor, who said it was my fault because I asked for extra cream, and that made the coffee cold. I ALWAYS get coffee from Starbucks with extra cream, and I know what temperature the coffee is supposed to be. This cup was (I guarantee) less than 105 degrees--barely warmer than the temperature of my skin. But the manager wasn't having it.
Really? You'll lose a customer rather than refill a cup with fresh coffee that doesn't have the taste and feel of day-old Folgers? I'll drive to Castaic next time. The Starbucks there at least has an idea what customer...
