Been going here since day one. Not anymore. Horrible attitude, lack of mental cognition on the part of the staff. Refusal to take phone orders, in lieu of a garbage, incomplete, malfunctioning app. An app that the staff has attempted to gaslight me into believing has no issues, and I'm somehow using it wrong....🙄
The last straw was waiting an inordinate amount of time for my order due to the "curbside" spaces being full. Of which there are four spaces, so I selected my space number on the app as "5", and parked mere feet away from designated spaces. This proved too much of a "Litmus Test" for the staff, as I waited in vain for my order, I eventually called (why insist on forcing customers to use the app if you'll answer the phone anyways?) and was met with: "you have to park in the designated spaces". Well, physics tells us that two objects cannot exist in the same space at the same time, which OBVIOUSLY renders their demand null and void, let alone physically impossible. Why this entire thing require a call on my part, and not a notification on the app, or a call....
In summation, taking your successful decade plus long business model and throwing it in the trash is a strange way to make a living, I've never tried personally, but it seems...
Read moreThis morning, while picking up breakfast for my family, I decided to order a carne asada burrito with just beef and guacamole. I specifically told the cashier my order and when she repeated it back to me. She confirmed, saying it would be a carne asada burrito with beans and guacamole, which was incorrect. I corrected her again.
When I got to the window, the receipt stated "carne asada -only guac, only beans." Before I could mention anything, she closed the window. I had to wait for her to come back with the "finished order" to clarify. Once I informed her of the mistake, she responded angrily, saying she had clarified it twice. I insisted that I had clarified my order twice as well. And now a third time at the window.
After she partially closed the window again, she went back to try and back talk me to her co-workers which I heard she returned a few minutes later and stated, “The carne asada burrito doesn't come with beans.” with the horrible attitude that she carries herself with.
I would like to address the new employee with the neck tattoo: I hope you have a better day. Thanks for serving my breakfast with a side of attitude to start my day. Won't be coming back here. Plenty of other places to give...
Read moreWhat a crap place! Okay, check this out...I order a carne asada burritos and the cashier lady tells me $5.60. I give her my credit card and I see the charge is $6.02. I ask why I was getting charged more than the price she just gave me 20 seconds ago and she tells me that it is for a credit card transaction fee. I said, "What transaction fee?" Then, the cashier lady slides the take-out window closed, which suddenly revealed this credit card transaction fee...ROTFL. It was hidden entirely when I ordered AND I was uninformed about it when I gave the cashier my credit card.
By the way, this transaction fee is against credit card policies! You cannot charge the customer a transaction fee, nor have a minimum spent when accepting credit cards. When a merchant takes credit cards, they sign an agreement saying that they will not charge a transaction fee!
Also, per California Civil Code, section 1748.1(a), is clearly states that a merchant cannot charge a consumer a transaction fee in lieu of using cash.
This place also asked for my ID on my credit card...
