This location is the absolute WORST Popeyes restaurant that I have EVER visit. I was so thrilled to hear about this location opening here in Ramona, because closest Popeyes restaurant near me was over 15 miles away.
After visiting this restaurant 10 plus times since they've opened, they have only gotten my order right ONCE! NO EXAGGERATION. And if that wasn't bad enough, every time I've gone, I spend AT LEAST 20 to 30 minutes waiting for my order. My last visit which was just a couple of weeks ago, they screwed up my order again. Wrong food items, no sauces which I specifically asked for and although I repeated to the cashier twice that my family wanted all sweet teas, we get home only to find out they gave us bland iced teas which none of us could stomach. So I called and asked to speak to the manager, and the employee replied "Um, she is busy right now". So I ask "She is too busy to speak with a customer who received a screwed up order"? And she simply said "yep". Wow. So I said "Well are you going to at least take my name and number so that she can call me back considering I just spent over 50 dollars with you "? She said "Yeah..sure". Did the manager ever return my call. Nope. Bad/rude service, waste of my money and time. Truly disappointed. I'd rather go back to eating KFC's mediocre food giving my money to this...
Read moreThe food is a 4 because, well, it's Popeyes. Food is good but not the healthiest 😉 I am reviewing this particular Popeyes location due to the service. In particular, I want to point out what an excellent employee they have at this location named Stephanie.
We are visiting Ramona and went out late yesterday to pick up some Popeyes. Stephanie took our order and was very friendly. Nice service as it should be.
We drove back to our hotel with our order, and we were missing a 10 piece of chicken (It was a large order). I returned back to Popeyes, noting we were missing the chicken. Stephanie apologized and verified with the person who put together our order that they indeed skipped this part of our order. She not only gave us what was missing but offered an additional side order to make up for the mistake. This is what most businesses do not recognize. We are all human and will make mistakes. However, it's how you remedy that mistake that creates loyal customers. While some may say that's the least they could do, you'd be surprised how many businesses don't even bother doing that. I, for one, will be returning to this Popeyes in the future and hope that Popeyes appreciates its employees...
Read moreFirst of all I entered an on line order and waited 30 minutes before arriving at Popeyes. When I arrive to get my order I’m told they ran out of macaroni and cheese and it would take 7 minutes to make more. Not sure what happened in the 30 minutes prior to getting there but I decided to wait instead of choosing a different side. Big mistake since the 7 minutes turned into 20-25. Placing the order well ahead of time was fruitless. While waiting it felt like the store A/C must have been set to freezing. When I finally get my order I check it for accuracy, especially since I’ve had a bad experience before with my sides being wrong. When getting home I expect to see 3 legs, 3 wings, 2 thighs, and 2 breasts just like what the receipt indicates. Unfortunately they swapped one of the breasts out for a leg which is a much smaller piece. Tried calling the store but they never pick up and instead get a recording to leave a message. As I write this review I have yet to get a call back. When they first opened the store in town I was excited. Now not so much if at all.
