Mariscos El Puerto Escondido - Huntington Park — Restaurant in California

My colleagues and I regurlarly go to this place when we have a late night at work. We go for the Happy Hour specials. I usually get the Canpechana since it is the special for Thursdays. I usually enjoy my experience there with my colleagues, all of whom speak Spanish. When it comes time to pay our separate checks, they are correct and fair. One day I decided to go on a Friday and I went alone. I do not speak Spanish so I ordered in English and asked for a Michelada and a campechana. The waitress made it clear that the campechana was regular price because it was only half price on Thursday. However when I got home I noticed that I was charged full price for the 1 Micheladas I ordered. They should have been half price as it was happy hour. On top of that, I ordered my micheladas with Modelo, but I noticed she poured the other with Bud Light. I brought it to her attention and she did offer to replace it with the correct beer, but I'm not one to waste a beer so I drank it. So I paid full price for 2 micheladas, one of which was incorrectly served. I'm not sure I will return to this place again as I feel that since I do not speak Spanish I did not get the same good service I have gotten before with my Spanish...

I ordered wings and fries and they were horrible the fries were old and tasted horrible and the wings were very silty, I could tell it was food left over food that they fried again and the fries were extremely oily , you would touch them and the oil would fall down that’s how much oil they had . The food made me sick , and the service was not very good in fact the lady that was serving didn’t come and ask how things were going, there was a lady here that doesn’t work here but comes often and she was more of a server than than the lady that works here, I had to go up to the lady because she wouldn’t come to us . Worst place I've ever been to. Music extreamly loud. Got their at 9pm. Lady took our order (3 of us) my husband's and my plate was brought within 15 min. I take 1st bite a plastic wrap was in it. She took it to replaced it. Turns 10:00 my plate still not there, husband's plate gets cold while waiting to eat with us. My son's plate never was brought. She comes over with neither my son's plate or mine and asks can I bring you anything else? We were like really you haven't even brought our plates. We tell her cancel order we are leaving she gives us the bill charging us for 2 beers when only 1 was ordered. She never apologized for the bad service. If anything she shouldn't have...
