McDonald's — Restaurant in California

This is now the second time I’ve had to write a review because once again my mobile order was wrong. I always pay for my sauces, yet they are never included in my bag. Today I checked before leaving, and once again they were missing. I had to go out of my way to go inside and let the staff know.

When I brought it up, instead of simply correcting the mistake, both the employees and the manager argued with me about the sauces—even though I had paid for them. They questioned how many bags I received and insisted they had given me everything, which was not true. I had paid for three ranches and only received one.

This is not just about the sauces—it’s about the repeated inconvenience of having to interrupt my plans and run late because my order is not fulfilled correctly. On top of that, the customer service today was completely unprofessional. The manager gave me an attitude and, instead of handing me the items respectfully, tossed them at me. That is unacceptable.

I understand that the store gets busy and that staff have a lot to manage, but customers also pay for their food and should receive what they ordered without being questioned or treated disrespectfully. At this point, I am seriously considering not returning to this location because of the poor management and lack of professionalism.

I really need to contact someone higher up about this issue, because the way I was treated today should not happen to...

Very very bad experience at this location. If I could give a 0 I would. If you’re looking to eat at a McDonald’s go anywhere but this location. Me and my family went here today (Sunday) during a road trip, and we had to use the bathroom and get some food. So, I went over to the lady at the cash register. She was short, and she was wearing a neon yellow/green vest. I think she did curbside pickup and she had a red cap on as well. I said “Hello can you please open the bathroom, or give us the code?” And she said “When it turns green you should be able to enter.” I said “Ok thank you!”. I made my way to the bathroom and she doesn’t unlock it I try to open it up it doesn’t and I wait for 15 minutes straight. I go back to the cash register and ask for the manger because this wasted my time. And I was trying to explain to the lady that oh like you guys made me wait and can I speak to the manger and she was smiling and giggling and laughing at my accent. So racist. Fast forward the assistant manger comes since the manger was not there. The assistant manger’s name was Bobby. She wouldn’t pay attention and just made me feel like I was talking to myself and kept cutting me off in the middle of a sentence. The employees are rude, racist, and should be fired immediately. I was working in Weedpatch Bakersfield area so there wasn’t a lot of choices where to eat so I figured McDonalds was a safe place to eat and I knew what to expect as far as the food. Boy was I in for a surprise. I ordered the quarter pounder meal and what I got was a waste of my money. I could of bought something much better at the local gas station. I opened the quarter pounder and I noticed the breat appeared old, the lettuce was wilted and brown around the edges. I removed the top piece of bread and saw a glob of mayo on top of the wilted piece of lettuce. I don’t like mayo which is why I ordered a quarter pounder. From all my years of eating at McDonalds, I’ve never seen one with mayo. Usually, ketchup, mustard, onions, lettuce and cheese. Not this one. This one looked like it was pieced together from leftovers. It tasted just how it looked, horrible! The fries and drink were good. Services was good too, just the food was extremely lacking. Not sure exactly what is going on there. Maybe the employees need pictures to show them what the food should look like...oh wait, they do have pictures, all over the restaurant. After this experience, I will have to be down right desperate, or to the point of starvation before I eat at another mcdonalds again. It left a really bad taste...
