McDonald's — Restaurant in California

I am so sick of the drive thru window guy at the Fallbrook McDonald’s. Today I get there and I hear talking on the speaker as I am approaching. Once I get there, it’s silence. No greeting, no welcome to McDonalds, just silence. So I say, are you there. And the response was a very rude, I’m waiting on you to order. So I say, do you see me on the camera because you act like I been sitting here for a while. The guy respond with yeah but what does that have to do with your order. I am shocked at this point, then I hear mumbling about something about a camera. I was asking because you were talking to my front bumper not me I was thinking. I ordered the happy meal that my daughter wanted. I get to the window and the guy snatches my card then hands it back and slams the window. Didn’t ask if I wanted a receipt or nothing.

By the time I get to the second window, I’m pissed. This hostile employee just ruined my otherwise good day. I asked the manager why they keep putting this guy at the window and I told her the story. She says that he get good comments most of the time but I could see in her eyes that she knows he is not good at greeting customers.

The reason I was so mad is because the last time I encountered this guy he greeted me with a very rude, what do you want? I made my order and I asked, did you get the extra fries since it wasn’t on the screen. He said yes I got the fries. When I got to the second window, I did not have extra fries. I asked the young guy to add it and he said I can’t take orders here at this window. I asked, how how do I get my fries. He said, you have to get back in line.

This is so ridiculous. The line was to the street. Why pay these workers so much to do everything wrong? Please keep the rude dude in the gray uniform shirt away from customers. He should be cleaning and offloading trucks not interacting with the public! Do better!

This place wasted my time today and it was unbelievable how no one acknowledged it or said at least sorry for your inconvenience.

I went through the drive through around 9:50 am and ordered a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit meal. I drove home and ate the hash brown before I realized that there was no egg on the biscuit.

Regrettably, I went back to make them fix it. Now, I’m sitting in the restaurant waiting on my corrected order when a guy says here is your bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. I’m like, that’s not what I ordered, I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese like on the receipt.

Third try, it’s now 1035 and breakfast is wrapping up. The guy says here is your sausage biscuit so of course I check it. There is no cheese this time.

I commented to the lady in the manager shirt watching me check the order, I said, I can’t understand why they can’t get this right - this is the third try. She looked at me like she was going to fix it but again no one really says anything, no sorry or nothing. I said just give me the cheese and I’ll put it on the sandwich.

After a few minutes, I was sick of wasting my time and left. It’s now 10:35 and I have been trying to get a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit for 45 minutes. This Fallbrook McDonalds has been falling off for quite some time now. This is just the one incident that I had to review. Luckily, today is my off day. Please work on your training. Your management sucks. Two thumbs down and 0 stars. Can’t...

3/22/24: Spent $52 on 3 meals, asked for wcdonalds sauce with our 40 pc nuggets meal, but they just gave us whatever sauce they felt like. Got home with ranch and tangy bbq. Ugh it really isn't that hard guys.

8/7/23 Edit: Just got my DoorDash delivery order including 20pc nugs, missing sauces once again. Don't ask me for sauces if you're not gonna include them. Taking back the one star of grace I was giving them for being small town franchise location that handles a lot of business... but I'm tired of ordering delivery and having to drive to get it. Yes, it's not far. But I paid for convenience that I'm not getting. Ridiculous.

No OJ for breakfast apparently is a common occurrence as it's my third time being unable to get any. Cashier at drive thru then rang up my combo as separate items because I no longer wanted the drink, which was more expensive. Just paid it because I ran out of patience. Of course, ordered three items and they're out of eggs... so have to pull over into the mobile order area that has no reversing visibility and people speed through. Nearly get swiped trying to reverse in so I can see out. See a kid running around with food, takes a bag to two other cars then comes and throws it on my lap saying "there's your food." I ask what it is as I have multiple items. He says "I don't know they just said give to the white car." So no idea if it is my order or not, I confirm my items and finally leave. I also order from DoorDash here once in a while and food is always cold (1 mile). Mobile order they ALWAYS short your items so if you are going to brave this location, make sure you check. Homeless regularly hang at the drive thru order screen smoking and at the mobile order area so expect to smell cigarette smoke while you order. Solicitors regularly panhandle and pitch you walking into and out of the building. Hate going here but it's better than the one...

This place ranges from decent customer service to bad customer service. It depends if theyre busy or not. But going through the drive through is horrible, especially in the morning. Almost always theyll get it wrong if you order more than 2 things. But i think its because they put a new employee in the drive through(hazing?) Because youll always see a manager working in the front fixing the mistakes.My husband and i got mcgriddle meals in the morning. But since they were so busy, they asked us nicely to pull up and wait for our food while they take the customers behind us. We waited only 5 minutes, which was nice, until we opebed our bag and only got 2 sandwiches. No oj no good ol fatty hash browns we all love. So i went back inside, saw they were busy, so i stood in line to talk to the cashier instead of trying to stand on the side to grab someones attention. I told the nice cashier that i didnt get any hash browns or oj so he pulled someone else to help me instead. The man he pulled was not excited to see me as i clutched the bag to my chest and told him the situation. I can tell the morning rush was getting to him and he seemed frazzled and had some attitude from it. So after he went to grab my missing items i asked for some ketchup and he gave me a look and then put only ONE KETCHUP BAG. And quickly walked away .. laughing .. ): i was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and be nice even though they got our order wrong. But man, some employees can be a real pain when their fast food franchise in a small town gets busy. But then again, its mcdonalds, i would hate...
