WHATEVER HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE? Last night New Year’s Eve at approx between 5 and 6 PM , my husband stopped at this location to get us some dinner. When the employee at the drive thru gave him the order he informed them a regular cheese burger was missing, which they corrected (but of course while waiting the food is getting cold). He comes home,and we discover two more items are missing, so he goes all the way back. He goes inside this time with the full order, informing them that the order was incomplete. The female manager behind the counter remembered the order because of the missing cheese burger, looked through the large bag and offered to correct that part of the order and threw the smaller bag with the reg cheese burger on the counter towards my husband, stating that part of the order was fine. My husband informed her that at this point, the whole order needs to be replaced. Everything thing is cold. The female manager, rather than focusing on customer service or even customer satisfaction by trying to resolve the order, she seemed to have taken this very personally and lost site of what customer service is or even person to person respect. This was apparent with her entire body language. She moved with an aggressive attitude, showing very apparent facial expressions of anger. Her behavior was an insult to my husband, so at this point my husband just asked for his money back, not trusting and concerned what could be hidden in the food. This was a $35 order, with a an easy resolution, but because of lack of training or care for the customer it ended in a negative experience. Read more11/07/24. Updated review: I decided to bring myself back to thos location for breakfast only. Their service is very good, and the coffee is great and tasty! Nowadays i just avoid the lunch and dinner times. 11/07/24 This review is for a guy working at around 12:30 noon, on Sat Oct 9th 2024. Couldn't read his name, but his attitude is so negative, he makes faces at clients and just tries to get rid off of them instead of helping, about 5'6" tall, probably latino/whitewash with pimply face. The ordering kiosks were all down, I had to make line at front desk to place my order, I was helped by a new employee who run asking for help when I made my request (the $6 mcdouble mealdeal), I ordered this before at the front desk before with no problem, at same location. The short guy came running to "help", making faces and hyperventilating, just to tell me "you need to do this on your phone, on you phone, on your phone " I didn't mean to bother you, I tried to do it in the kiosks but they were down, he repeated again "on your phone, on your phone ..." I waited several months to post this update as I wanted to give this particular restaurant a fair chance to recover thinking it was just going through a rough patch. This whittier site is in dire need of a knowledgeable store manager. The orders now are mostly wrong with upset customers experiencing long waits and others having to come inside after going through drive through. All the original staff that were there when I first posted and had been working for at least a couple or more years are gone. Now I see new trainees on every visit and a few seem lost and others not fully trained. You need to double check your order each visit because either eating utensils or pancake syrup and even food is missing from the order. I have to change my star rating from 5 to 2.
