If I could leave a negative five I would. I have enjoyed chalio for years and years so have my children. This location is the second time you have come in large gap. There is no way this is the same place.. some places I will take rude service if the food is good. When you think franchise you think GOLD standards. Right a family owned restaurants have recipes that are followed for generations. How can you get it so wrong .. let alone the first time I came here to this Birrieria they didn't have any. How it's literally in your name. I ordered tacos de cabeza that time too Wich again seemed like I was begging for food in the back and tortilla was falling apart, the waitress Wich acted like I offended her grandmother asked what did you want me to do. Fix the problem be a problem silver not a childish angry bird , the Chile Verde how if wasn't even tart didn't taste like anything looked like water with a splash of old water , the taco when she brought it back chipped like should have the cook made sure I heard him banging away. Brought back a hard tortilla back when th a side and extra side of attitude, this place leaves a lot to desire their horrible ways to not having things like soda to fountain drinks. Maybe this place wouldn't be empty or only have regulars if the service or food was good. I'm sure you have plenty of one timers. FYI I've ordered for pickup to avoid the service and when git here they said they only had enough for one taco... Place is trash shows the management lack of care. The main location should shut this place down in brings...
Read moreDécor is charming. Food was authentic but modestly average. Someone in my ordered Plato de Cabesa, but what she got was definitely not cabesa. This place is supposed to be renowned for its Birrieria, but I could not compare it to any birrieria I've ever had, my favorite go~to dish I always order at AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurants, to determine whether the restaurant is worth coming back for... if they get the birrieria right, you know the rest will be good! The only thing better than modestly average was the raspberry iced tea (definitely not a regional treat) and the mariachi musicians, who were rather modestly okay, but as a group were not balanced... the singers were barely perceptible, because the trumpet overwhelmed everyone else in the group. And finally, the place is definitely NOT handicapped accessible! Someone in our group could not slide into a booth, and we were moved three times, before they found a place to swat us with a chair at the end of the table, and the bathrooms were so tiny, a normal person would have to stand on the seat on to open the stall door! We...
Read moreWe usually come here for breakfast and everything is pretty much excellent. Service is good and the atmosphere is always pretty quiet and calm. However today, service was very slow and a little incompetent. It took about 5-7 min to get our water and coffee. She brought us silverware , but it was only a spoon 🤷🤔🤔🤷. It wasn't a napkin and fork.... It was a spoon lol. I don't know man🤔🤔. She brought our meals however we didn't have a fork. We asked her for a fork and she was nice and went to go get it....5 min later we get our forks. Food was not as warm as when it was first brought over to us. She never came to see if everything was ok. She never asked if I wanted a coffee refill. I never finished that cup of coffee cuz it got cold ❄️❄️. If that wasn't bad they sat us at a table that hadn't been completely cleared away. There was trash from the previous customers behind us in the corner. Despite all this....... Food is delicious 😋😋😋😋....
