I've been to this place a couple times before. At different times during the day. Each time I've been there, the customer service is awful. The food is good. Flavorful. And they are generous with their portions with the exception of the chili fries. Having said that, the only reason I will NEVER visit this restaurant again is BECAUSE of the customer service and the length it takes to get your meal. Today we placed our order at 6:53pm. We began to have our order served (for 3 people) at 8:05pm. The last item that was brought to the table was chili fries... maybe about 5 minutes after receiving the second order at the table (a burrito) ... ONLY because I went up to the counter and asked about the chili fries. A woman behind the counter at the juice bar asked if she could help me ..i wasn't comfortable shouting what was wrong when there were THREE people in front of me (2 cooks and the woman who took our order)... I proceeded to tell them I didn't get the chili fries to which they all began to say, "Marta their chili fries, that's theirs!".. Anyone of them could have handed it to me but they waited for her. The woman at The juice bar said, "we'll bring to you, we have to warm them up.." it was a ready plate that had been sitting there... The television was extremely loud. People at other tables were complaining about how loud it was. My husband went to ask if the tv could please be turned down and they just started blankly at him. Overall, it's a nice looking restaurant, cozi, the food tastes good, but the experience of each time I've visited there is horrible. I wish the people working there had better customer service skills and tried to smile. Maybe be a little apologetic when maybe they've taken longer than expected with a customers order...And since it's a restaurant that you CHOOSE to go to, it'd be nice if they made you feel that they valued you as a patron in their business. Each time I've been there (today being my last) they've take forever to take the order (very slowly), giving you you're food and all the while making you feel as if you should be grateful they're feeding you. Read moreStopped by to support local businesses, usually I go across the street to Doublz because I know the food is good, today I decided to try something different, right away I noticed their prices for burgers are pretty high compared to most other establishments ($12 combo), no big deal right? Maybe the burger is better, the ingredients or quality is better? Read moreWell, thinking this Douglas location on Washington, was the same ownership as the one on Telegraph/Gunn in Santa Fe Springs..I wish I'd went to the SFS location better! Order was missing an item, they claimed I didn't ask for in drive thru, then I had to get off and order inside because they had to make it still and there was a long line. When inside, I ordered in addition another Orange Bang drink while waiting for corn dog. As I'm serving the orange bang drink I notice it's coming down clear and upon tasting, I knew it was gonna taste watery. I advise the lady who had taken my order at drive thru window and she responds bothered, saying both serving stations for public and for employees to serve are the same. I responded it was not the same, being I had already tasted some from behind their counter when I ordered originally at drive thru. Burger tasted dry.
