Mike's Pizza of Sonora — Restaurant in California

I have never had a five star piazza before. A few 4.8's. First the facility. The place was dirty. Do they wait until the last customer leaves to bust or clean a table ? We had to find a table that wasn't dirty or had been used, and that one had what looked like all the remains under the table from the lunch on until we sat down at 7:15pm On a scale of 1-5, I would give it a 2. Staff friendliness and Customer service. I would give it a 1.5. You're on your own folks. Walk up place your order. Don't ask any questions. They can't can't/won't answer it. Might as well be ordering your pizza online, and driving to pick it up. You order, pay, sit down. Then wait for someone to walk through the place calling your name when it's done. Our pizza was dropped off at out table without a smile, thank you, or asking if there is anything else you need. Tried to ask her a question. She just walked away. Believe me. I stand out in a room and can get anybody's attention. On to the pizza. Our wait time was accurate. And the pizza was better than ok. A solid 3 on the 1-5 scale. Ordered a 1/2 Combo and 1/2 Hawaiian. A medium crust that was cooked right and not a bit soggy. Good job. I read reviews about "Not skimping on toppings." Claiming they used "abundant toppings"?? The toppings are medium. All in all solid 3 on the pizza scale. I will be reviewing other pizza establishments in the months to come in the...

I had previously given them 5 stars, but I had to take a couple off. Went for all you can eat wed, and I just got tired of it and walked out. I'm a big boy. It was dead when we first sat down. We got 1 slice each and then waited...I turned down the next kind that came around. I waited a few more minutes and decided to try a pie I'd never had. I loved it. And then I waited. We sat in the back and it seemed like the pizza was out every time she got back to us. She asked another couple of they had a special request. But never offered it to us. Frankly the choices they were coming out with didn't appeal to me. I finally said after 45 minutes that I would wait for 1 more piece of a specific kind that was due to come out in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later I still had not gotten it. My fiance was still hungry and had only eaten 2 pieces and tried a 3rd that she didn't like. We finally left after over an hour and just came home and made a snack. They have excellent zza but I prefer to carry...

Mikes is going downhill, fast. Subtract one star for cleanliness and sanitation; the open kitchen is filthy, strewn with paper, food and garbage which the cooks and waitresses step over and kick out from underfoot. Forget hair nets worn by the hirsute cooks. Subtract another star for service; heaven forbid that they've made a mistake on your order and it becomes "Your Fault", or that the discount "Rad" program is down and you have to pay in cash, which you didn't bring with you, or the surly argumentative waitress who tells you your late pizza "isn't burnt, it's just well done". And finally substrate a third star for their pricing; Your're told over the phone one price but when you get there it's seven dollars more than they told you, and the surly girl tells you "our pricing really went up this week, and the pizza is just will done". I'm taking my business and "Rad" card to Jamestown or Frappys pizza...
