Petra Wine Bar — Restaurant in California

If I could have given a lower rating, I would have. First, the menu outside and on the front desk didnt match the menu we were given (with no explanation). Server didnt give her name. After giving us the menus, she walked away and came back 15 minutes later to take the order. I actually felt bad for the server because it appeared that it was just her and one other person for the whole place. The food was decent, but either the proportions need to be dramatically increased or the prices need to be dramatically decreased. Server never came back after food was served to ask how things were. We eventually had to flag the server down just to ask for the check to get out of there.

If you are going for wine, maybe its a good place. If youre going for food (which is easy since there is a food menu outside with food they apparently do not have) then go...

If you are looking for an elegant apres ski experience, Petra Wine bar is the place for you. We have been coming to Northstar for years, and yet this is the first time we added Petra to our dining repertoire. Boy were we delighted! Even though ski resorts often offer average experience for a high price, Petra’s service matches even the best fine dining experiences off mountain. The cocoa rubbed bavette steak was delicious. The food is overpriced,, when I got my burger they provide no sauces for the burger which was dry. On our way out we were asked why we didn’t tip, And we told them .the owner yelled “get the hell out of my restaurant, and learn how to restaurant, you’re disrespectful.“ I wasn’t really pleased with the meal but didn’t want to mention anything to them. but if I didn’t tip there is a reason. Food is not worth the price and you’re basically forced to leave a tip and if not you get yelled at in front...
