I happen to stop in on this place from a day trip with kids playing in the Tahoe snow all day. Kids are always picky eaters to start with. We saw a couple of pizza joints along the road heading up earlier in the day and we felt it wasn’t going to be a problem feeding the troops on the way back. Sadly I was mistaken and found that the pizza places were closed??? It was a bit disappointing and we decided to wait till Elk Grove to stop off along the way back to home. As a last ditch effort we looked for pizza eateries along hwy 50 as we’re coming down the road. The name Pizza Plus stood out being that we love the Ripon Pizza Plus. We decided to make a pitstop and check it out. I honestly didn’t read reviews or really how far off the main hwy they were located at being that it looked like it wasn’t too far. I ordered a Lg.pepperoni, Sm. Hawaiian, and Med.Rockin Combo for 9 people. The gang devoured all the pies down to one last small slice. The crust was so crispy and had the all so desirable fresh bread from the oven smell and taste. Just the right amount of fresh toppings that made for a perfect pizza pie. Everyone raved at how delicious the pizza was, and how it was worth the small detour. We have definitely found a new go to stop when next we’re nearby by. The staff was very friendly which also made for an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to enjoying some pizza indoors at this place to try out other goodies on their menu. Great Job...

I got pizza tonight and it was extremely slow, and it was the worst experience I have ever had. Cleary the kids working did not care one bit about quality. My pizza was burnt, topping thrown on unevenly and I asked for THICK crust and got the tiniest crust I have ever seen from them. Clearly, the workers do not possess any skills to make pizza in any way. It was burnt but still not cooked in the middle and the toppings were barely anything!
