Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in California

I was SO shocked at the price and quantity of food that is in a Regular container. Of red beans and rice, Mac and cheese.etc. It was mind-blowing. Yes I ordered a REGULAR it was $5.49 .so looking at the price and the description "Regular " you (I ) automatically think it's not a small Right and it's NOT a large it's regular.. but I'm telling you it was a Child's Small lol How do young family's eat out I was buying for just my husband and I and it literally served us both a table spoon of Mac and cheese fir 5.49 and the same with the red Beans and rice , all we could do was laugh and just knowing we're not going back if we're hungry . Lol so sad If your a little family on a budget, Im going to have to tell you to keep driving unless you just have money , money , money to spend at Popeyes. It can sure be yummy but common. The containers are a joke . I hope I can post a photo they are about 2 " tall and not much larger than the palm of your hand . I'm just one person, but this was my experience I must add our chicken was good and those dang biscuits dipped in my redbeans and rice, it's still so yummy...

Went here for my first time with my girlfriend and our friend. The service was terrible (cashier Meranda acted like she didn't wanna be there or learn anything) the other cashier who took over didn't get our food ready for over half an hour. When we did get our food the portions for a regular were so small, it looked like it was for a small child. We had to walk up to tell them that we were still waiting for our food, had to complain about portion size. The manager acted like she didn't really give a crap that we had to wait and that the portions were small. This place is horrible. Not to mention the ice machine was out of ice and some of the drink choices got stuck when getting a drink. It took forever to get anyone's attention to help us with the ice and drinks (hardly 3 people were there to eat). Place was not busy at all so there shouldn't have been any issues with getting our food in an orderly fashion and fresh. Never will we visit this place again. I hope they shut down this location. Never again. Never. I wish I could give 0 stars. My order was placed in the drive through at 1:51pm. I ordered 1 family meal which had 14 tenders. They told me the tenders would be a 10 min wait and asked me to park in the parking spots. I was ok with 10 mins, but 30 mins passed by as I'm watching everyone else get their food, and I went and knocked on the window because the door in the back was locked. I asked her what was going on because it's been 30 minutes. She forgot about my order. Then 5 mins later they came back out and said they were going to make all my food fresh.....umm... that's what should've been done in the first place. So 50 mins later they finally gave me my food, and forgot one of the sides it came with. I wasnt waiting any longer so I'm done with them. Never...
