Quiznos — Restaurant in California

Two days ago was in the store with my husband Michael - I echo his praise and add the following comments:

Always allowed to use the restroom so don’t know what the one guy on Yelp is complaining about. It is well documented that the store closes at 8pm, and on this night, they didn’t rush us out even though we were still eating at 8pm. They let us stay while they cleaned the store for the night so we could finish eating. My husband wanted a meatball sandwich. Thank goodness the employee let us know that at that time of night, right before closing, the meatballs were frozen so my husband can change his mind. The meatballs during the day probably have the chance to marinade with the sauce…they would taste awful if used frozen. As for hygiene, the store is immaculate AND they wash their hands before handling food. I even saw gloves in use. One lady on Yelp complained about people from the Middle East. The absolute irrelevance of national origin, and the nature of her comments, suggests racism. If by Middle East she is trying to infer Muslim religion, then she should understand how important being a good host is to a Muslim…I have NEVER been treated so well as I am treating by Muslims while on travel. With regard to the two men I always see on duty at the store, one may be a Muslim (irrelevant, if he is) but I doubt the other is a Muslim; he wears his hair like he is a Sikh (not Muslim) which would suggest he is from Punjab, the north of India, which is in South Asia, not the Middle East. This potential Punjabi gentleman is very friendly to me and my husband, every visit.

When I saw the store is immaculate, I mean spotless. the table and floors, even behind the counter, are always clean, the trash in the bin not overflowing, and there are no bad smells. I am posting this on Google because the review on Yelp was so unfair. This place, the food, and these people are great. We drive a considerable distance just to order...

We came from 4 hours out the 2 men working were rude!!! As soon as we walked in the man said " you cannot use our restroom unless you buy something!" We planned on having lunch there anyway so we proceeded to the bathroom with our little one the bathroom was dirty and nasty. After we finished my husband took our child back to the car while I stood in line to purchase a brownie because we decided after the mans attitude we weren't going to eat there as I stood in line my husband and son caught his eye going out the door he about jumped out of skin to yell you need to buy something!! I waved the brownie in his face to show him we were! Thats terrible customer service, the brownie was nasty, everything about that place was gross but to push buying stuff in exchange for the restroom really showed me all I needed to know. Will...

Second time coming to this location,and will be my last. Had no complaints during my first visit, and I usually don't leave reviews for anything but felt this needed to be addressed. This franchise is clearly cutting corners by serving non carbonated soda beverages, and telling the manager on duty was pointless, according to another guest sitting at the table next to me. The protein portions were light, and was made more noticeable when I saw my child's turkey and cheese sandwich had only two small slices of turkey on a massive 4inch bread.
