Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in California

First of all, for a place called round top pizza...there were only two round tops in the whole place. I sat at one with my family. Certainly not the atmosphere suggested by the name. But for real though, we stopped on a Monday at lunch. We purchased the buffet for $35. That's two people and one drink. It's unlimited she says. Unlimited what? Drink...salad....CUZ IT SURE WASN'T PIZZA. All that was available were the equivalent of two dried up pizzas. We ate what was available as options are limited in the area after coming out of the Redwood Forest. However, in the time that it took the four of us to use the restroom, purchase AND EAT our first trip to the buffet, only two fresh pizzas came out. By this time, the restaurant had many more patrons and not a care in the world that there wasn't enough food to accommodate. Job NOT well done. Worst food I've paid for on my trip to California. I personally think the food at the Mckinleyville Round Table is very good, this I’d give a 5 star for. Unfortunately they’re prices keep me away. (10x a year max) It’s absurd to pay $40 dollars for a pizza no matter how good the Ingredients are! And $7.99 for 6 wings??? I’m sorry but $1.30 per wing is again absurd. I mean what is a wing in measurements? About 1tsp? Ridiculously over priced. For this I give a 1 ⭐️ I own and manage a very lucrative business. I do much better making a few dollars on multiple sales in a day rather than price gouging the few customers for very marginal profits. Only good thing I can say about this place is when you’re go in to order a pizza there is no lines of people. And that says it all!! This kind of management wouldn’t last a month with my business. Delicious pizza with kind and welcoming staff. I called in a to go order on 8/6/18 and was treated very kindly both over the phone and in person. I made a request that my vegetarian pizza was handled cleanly and seperately from a pepperoni pizza that I ordered at the same time for friends and they were glad to oblige. Also they really go all in on the toppings, round table is a pricey chain but my incredible experience today reminded me why their superior quality is well worth the price. If any of the staff is reading this, keep up the good work. Customers notice courtesy above all else and I can't say that other resteraunts are considerate to the meticulous requests of customers...
