First, why I loved it.. I might be crazy but i feel the shakeys flavor varies from place to place. I can tell you that food itself tasted fresh, the mojo potatoes were perfectly cooked and the chicken tasted amazing. My experience with shakeys does vary from location. I can also tell you they have a pretty big game room for the kids, it didn’t feel crowded. Their customer service on the other hand, not so good. The cashier was friendly and was a big help. The rest of the staff seemed a little out of it. We arrived right after the Buffet, so they were cleaning up. I was waiting for a few minutes to get a to get an extra cup, ranch and jalapeños. Which I had to pay for, I still don’t get why some of these items aren’t free. But I understand. So while I’m waiting, I see the manager and crew just talking and eating the left overs, and I’m there just waiting for those items. Also a customer is behind me waiting to get helped. Once I finished my food, and needed to get a to go box, the cashier insisted that I bring my leftovers so they can box them. I’m pretty sure that this an attempt to create a better customer service experience, but I’m ok packing my own leftovers. THEY NEED TO GET NEW MANAGEMENT AND HAVE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE OR CLOSE THIS "RESTAURANT" IF THEY'RE NOT CAPABLE. My family and I placed an order and we were number 11. They delivered the food to everyone else up to number 17 before they delivered our food. Before that my husband had already asked if our food was almost ready and they said yes but gave the food to two other tables that came after us. When they finally delivered the food my husband asked why it took so long and the server said that because the previous server had given our food to someone else. ARE YOU SERIOUS? They didn't even have the manners to let us know about this mistake, instead they made us wait an hour for our food. I complained to a man who was the one in charge of the kitchen but all he kept saying was sorry as if it wasn't a big deal. Worst of all, he wasn't even a manager or supervisor so he wasn't helpful at all. I won't be going here again because it's obvious i'm not the only one who has had a TERRIBLE experience. Read moreI had an absolute horrible experience with this particular location. I ordered two $19.99 specials which included mojos and a large pizza. The guy running the cash register charged me with a rushed attitude $59. I immediately realized I was being over charged and he adamantly states the price was correct. Why I gave him my card I do t know. He then charges my card and comes back saying he over charged me. He then voided the $59, and states it will go back to my account. I said probably in two days. Then he recharged me $53. I was so annoyed. The $59 is still on my account and hasn’t cleared like he said. Lastly to top it all off, I got home and the pizza was old and tasted like cardboard. What I didn’t mention also was they charged me for a four piece chicken I canceled during my order. I couldn’t afford for them to void another transaction. The chicken was old, and tasted very dry. I’m being very honest when I say 7 Eleven pizza is 100 times better on an off night with only one employee. If I could give negative stars I would. I don’t recommend this...
