Walmerado Park — Attraction in West Covina

Great playground for toddlers and kids. There are two playgrounds. One for little and one for older kids. Large park but play area is cute and small with ladders, slides, some swings, a see-saw, and some climbing obstacles.Large tree provides shade around the 6p time. Only had one incident here with a rude child and parent who wasn’t watching their child. But people will be people. Great and easy parking with two handicap parking spots. We have visited this park mainly to play pony league baseball. The field small field is well used and in need of some care not sure if it is going to stay now that the larger new fields have been built. It’s a smaller park. It has nice big trees, plenty of shade and grass areas to enjoy a picnic. We often come here for my son’s baseball games. There is an outdoor basketball court, a decent playground area and a few uncovered picnic tables. The bathrooms are decently kept clean. No soap dispensers.
