Starbucks — Restaurant in California

Stopped in at this Starbucks, purchased a Cap and slice of Banana bread. I put the slice (in its' bag) in my glovebox (so the dog didn't eat it) , came back 30 minutes later, opened the bag and it was covered in ants...Yuck. I pulled everything out of the glovebox and the only ants were in the bag. I stopped back at the Starbucks and told the server my story. She looked at me and said."you didn't get those ants here." She offered me a replacement and I said, "not hungry for banana bread anymore. Can I get a refund?" She went and fetched a "manager" who gave me a snarky, "we don't have an ant problem here." The woman refunded my coffee and bread price, but it was her tone and attitude that annoyed me. I told her that had she said something like, "I'm sorry... let me replace/ comp... I would have been fine, but pushing the "blame" to a guest, not acceptable. I know my 2 cappucinos a week isn't a difference to you Starbucks, but you have lost my business...

Ordered online, went to ask about my order to the barista, they were having fun teasing each other and kind of ignored me for a while. 5min later (no customer in line anymore) I went to ask again and it turns out it was there getting cold and nobody had noticed.

Very poor service. I appreciate employees being friendly with each other and with customers, but this is your job, not a park, a club or a place for you to tease and flirt or whatever you were doing.

Muffin was delicious but a bit deformed, not sure if it happens after warming it up, or because they just left it there sideways for 5min+

I started working down the street from this Starbucks and now I go here all the time! I usually do a mobile order. There has only been once that I had to wait for my drink, and they were clearly incredibly busy.

Only reason I gave them 4 stars: they have given me goopy, messy cups more times than I can count. I have gotten green stuff smeared on the side, brown stuff on the lid, and too often whipped cream and espresso smeared on the sides of my cup. I understand that you're trying to go fast, but sometimes it's the little touches that make a difference. (I've never complained to them directly, it's just some ...
