My Dad and I had a wonderful dining experience at Mi Tierra 2. This has quickly become our favorite spot for our father-daughter lunch dates. 💕 We loved the authentic Mexican food, chocolate flan dessert, and one of the best fresh veggie burritos I’ve had in a long time! The restaurant features a nice bar and open seating, along with a lovely outdoor patio. Carmen, the owner, is incredibly kind and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Plus, it’s conveniently located next to the movies and Sonoma County Airport, making it a perfect spot for a bite to eat before or after catching a film or flight. I ordered the shrimp tacos, fish tacos, and a side of rice and beans to go. When I saw “tacos” listed on the menu, I assumed that meant two per order, but I was surprised to find only one taco each.

The shrimp taco was pretty good—well-seasoned and flavorful. However, the fish taco was disappointing; it lacked the freshness and taste I was expecting. On the bright side, the rice and beans were delicious and ended up being my favorite part of the meal.

My burrito was absolutely incredible! The chicken was perfectly shredded and bursting with flavor. Every bite was delicious and satisfying. We also ordered a side of guacamole, which was creamy and paired perfectly with our meal, and enjoyed a couple of cold beers to top it all off. What really made the experience special was that the owner, Carmen, personally came over to welcome us and ensure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable time.
