I’d rate it a full 5 stars but unfortunately I can’t. The only reason I don’t rate it 1 star (0 stars if that were possible) is because the Manager, Jennifer, was extremely kind, understanding and gentle in my situation. If I were her boss, I would most definitely give her a raise due to her professionalism and genuine kindness. 5 days ago I was driving from Oregon to Cali to escape the wildfires. During which, my family and I stopped at this Starbucks. Everything very normal. Ordered drinks through drive-thru and received drinks. Pulled over to a parking space to give drinks to my husband (who was driving our other car) when I grabbed the drink I ordered (a PSL) the lid fell of because it was not properly tightened. The coffee started spilling over the sides of the cup and onto my hand. At that moment it became clear to me, as my hand began to burn, that it was not a PSL it was scorching hot black coffee that I did not order to begin with. In order to avoid burning my 9 year old son, I held onto the cup long enough to move it outta his way so he would not be burned as well before dropping it. I was pretty upset since my hand was burnt to that extreme that I went back inside the building and very politely asked to speak with the manager. I explained what had happened and showed Jennifer my hand and she immediately showed genuine concern and went to grab the first aid kit. She aided my burn with burn relief cream and wrapped my hand for me. She also contacted corporate to report the injury. Im disappointed in how hot that coffee was, but very happy with how Jennifer dealt with...
Read moreMy visit to this Starbucks location was not what I have come to expect from Starbucks. I stopped in for a coffee to wake up while on a trip with my family. As my wife started our order I went to use the restroom. The door had a numbered keypad so I asked an employee for the code. She replied with " I'll open the door for you in a second". After she finished her conversation with another employee she went to finish taking my wife's order. So I asked her again if I can get the code. She replied, "I'm busy with a customer, I'll help you when I'm done". I said, "just get what my wife ordered and I'll order after I use the restroom". She still refused to allow me to use the restroom, so I canceled the entire order and went to the restaurant next door who were happy to let me use the restroom, even without ordering food. I went back to get the Starbucks employees name but she avoided me. I got a picture instead. Was this a racial thing, or a rudeness problem? Another customer told me she heard her talking badly about me where other customers could hear after I left. I will never return to...
Read moreTo be clear, the Starbucks in Turlock on hedstrom is the Starbucks I was speaking of. Not Bakersfield. the first Starbucks Coffee I've had in awhile, and now I remember why. It's just Starbucks, overpriced and crowded. When you have to reconstruct a street for Starbucks drive-through and put the rest of the people who want to go down that street into a screwed up situation, something's wrong. Turlock could have spent that money on the big potholes all around the city, and the drive-through people could possibly Park and get out and walk? Instead of blocking all the traffic. It's just a suggestion. So Starbucks everybody loves you but, the priorities for fixing the road and making things convenient for people..? City of Turlock ?? Seriously, just off the top of my head I can think of five spots with 100% more traffic. Would have helped a hundred percent aren't people. I guess that's a review on the City of Turlock...
