Disappointed at the two workers in this location today. I had ordered here several times and had good service sometimes and not so good service other times. Now, I see all the comments about unprofessional service here. Maria, the supervisor, and the server who took my order and did not use the rewards I said to redeem, failed in providing a good customer service experience. I asked for the name of the server and she didn't want to give her name. Supervisor and another employee also did not give me the name of the server when I asked for it. No smile, no kindness. Maria was on her cell phone on a personal call. I had to wait for her to finish that call before she said, Yeah!! Wow!! These two need comprehensive and additional training on customer service. She offered to refund the bakery item, but I just can't bear to stay any longer in that place and be subjected to their blank stare, uncaring, unsatisfactory attitude and behavior. Read more9:58AM March 3. lady was very nice but came up to me and said “hi, I’m sorry but we do have a policy that you have to buy something to sit in the lobby.” I respect the policy and left without complaining. Just because I don’t agree with it doesn’t mean I’m going to make a scene. But I will tell you that’s a absurd policy since I spend a lot of money on coffee and that day I happen to get my oil change at the meineke down the street and needed somewhere comfy to sit. I won’t be buying Starbucks going forward due to this absurdity. Considering I buy Starbucks 3-4 times a day during a work week I’ll just resort to something else. This is BS.
UPDATE: I just didn’t want to deal with it knowing we have 3 Dutch bros coming to Manteca. I’ll just support them going forward. I called Starbucks customer care and cancelled my entire account. I know my chump change won’t affect them but hopefully this helps others change their mind and choose other coffee places...
Read moreToday I did a mobile order and had to wait over 20 minutes after it said it was going to be ready. That wasn't the issue, the issue was the rude woman with the braids who worked there. Not only was she super rude to almost every customer there but my drink after I got it was filled with ice barley any coffee, and it was horrible! I've been there before and have never had this issue. I had to write this review because the way she talked to not only me but a few other customers was unacceptable. You literally work in customer service, if you can't handle the stress of working in a busy place without having a horrible attitude maybe you should...
