Shooters Wings & Things — Restaurant in California

What can I say!? I live in FL and working for a few weeks in Lathrop CA, as I saw all the hype from social media just talking the In-N-Out this and In-N-out that and on and on, so I did give a try to In-N-Out, and I was like!! what is all this hype a bout a "burger" the it isn't bad nor amazing, so my colleague and I were searching for something to eat, and he said let's get a burger, I was like ok, which one? so I Googled burgers near me and came across Shooters Wings & Things, I was like let's go to this place and give it a try, so when we got there, it seems that either the owner, or the GM was the one attending, and you could see his customer service skill were up to the next level! so I asked him: if I could customize my order, he said of course! so I ordered a double bacon cheese burger with jalapenos all the way, and let me tell ya! I am glad that he brought me a knife! that burger was massive! I stared at it for about 5 minutes thinking from which side I would attack it! I ended up cutting it in half! and like I told the guy, he doesn't have envy In-N-Out at all! his burgers are way tastier, juicier and well seasoned, if you ever go there, please be hungry! or you will be walking the walk of shame like I did carrying a To-Go box with half burger in it! Definitely coming back...

The first time I came here the meat was way too salty and very hard to eat. And the prices were a bit too high for the portion sizes. But I decided to go back a second time because the service was friendly and quick and I thought I would try a different dish.

Not only was the food way less than par, but the service was bad. We were on the fence about dining in or taking it to go, she pushed us towards taking the food togo and then charged us more for our appetizer because we weren't dining in. Neither of us were able to finish even half of our meals because they were cooked so poorly. The appetizer platter we got was dry and overcooked and had both of our stomachs upset after eating just a little bit of it. And the meat on this sandwich was also very salty, so it's not just the tritip. We will not be back and we will never be suggesting this place to people when they ask us what's good...

This review is purely about the food. We ordered food for pickup. I rarely give reviews so low but honestly I spent $50 for food that was not good. We got boneless wings, a bacon burger, fries and onion rings. We got bbq wings and the bbq sauce they had tasted so weird. And the breading of the wings was soggy. The fries were not cooked all the way and soggy. The batter for the onion rings tasted old somehow. The burger was sad because it was a good sized burger but the patty was so small that most of the burger was made up of bread and produce. The burger itself was way overcooked, it was burnt and extremely dry. We barely ate anything and felt like we wasted good earned money on food we didn’t enjoy and didn’t...
