We go to this place often but recently there has been number of incidents (3 to be precise) where the staff and the chef just doesn’t give a damn even if you tell them there is something wrong with the food.
Let me start with the fresh incident that happened with us . We ordered non veg platter and bunch of other items. The non veg platter had some sort of liquid floating around (as if it was microwaved). when we told the waitress about it , we were told “eh edaan da hi hunda” (means this is how its supposed to be) it tasted like as if they have reheated an old platter and served us.
On another day , we ordered main menu items such as dal , kadahi paneer , malai kofta and bread basket .when we started with our food we found out it was too salty and had foul smell. Again after addressing this , we were told that it’s the bread that is salty not the curries and were just ignored.
Now the mistake I made here was to not take pictures or record anything. But don’t worry, I will be going to the restaurant again and will record...
Read moreThe only thing nice here was the restaurant atmosphere. It looks beautiful inside.
I wish I could say something nice about the food.
Gobi Manchurian - first time I had it come to the table with red and green chutney...tasteless even though it had plenty of sauce in it.
Butter Chicken - 🐔 sad, no salt or flavor..ton of tamoto paste in the recipe, and lacked all spices.
Bhindi Masala - not crispy, not seasoned with anything, and tons of oil at the bottom
Garlic Naan - hard and overly charred.
Onion Salad ‐ huge rings of a sliced onion with a small green chili and a wedge of lemon...I guess you can put salt and black pepper on it yourself and bring chat masala from home and also bring your own knife to cut up the onion.
The service staff is nice and polite, but they are completely inexperienced. You can tell they had never worked at a dine in restaurant.
We were so excited about having a new restaurant in town, but I'm completely...
Read moreWhat a joke. I’d give this place zero stars if I could. I ordered butter chicken & punjabi rajmah & “sweet corn soup”. They served us manchow soup instead. Then they brought a gui corn paste which was actually resembled baby vomit. They both are known punjabi dishes but Junoon somehow messed them up.
The food smelled weird and tasted worse—total garbage.
When I complained, the manager and waiter proudly said, “That’s how we make it!” Like that’s supposed to make it better? I couldn’t eat a single bite. Left both bowls completely full on the table—and still got charged $50 for it! I took my garlic naan with me and went to my favorite food truck in Lathrop instead. At least they served proper, delicious dal makhni(last photo)—with rice included!
Btw they make up their reviews! Post one bad review and they will post 4-5 good...
