Tacos La Villa — Restaurant in California

This used to be my favorite La Villa to go to because their food was always so good and on point but lately they have majorly declined! The last time I went the food handlers had no gloves on and one of the employees was clearly sick coughing and sneezing and wiping her nose with her hands then grabbing our food. I shouldn't have eaten it after seeing that but I was so hungry my fiancé ended up getting Covid a few days later. We decided to go back in hopes that was one bad night and maybe our usuals were there this time... nope different people but whatever we proceed to order food. It's 5:00 am we both had just got off a noc shift and picked up our puppy from the dog sitters and brought him in and the lady taking our order was full of compliments "he's so cute" etc.... She then hands us our food and says oh my boss says next time don't bring your pets in to our establishment. We apologized and said that we understood and next time they could have asked us nicely to go outside with him or explained the no pet policy. We get home and our fries were legit cold, soggy, and terrible the worst we've ever had. We called the store and asked what was up... the cook said he did it on purpose because we brought our puppy in mind you he's tiny and we were holding him.... And said if we don't bring our dog back in he will make our food the right way. I'm sorry but that's rude and unprofessional! This place is trash! Will never ever eat here again . Should have stopped after the first flag. Oh and forgot to mention all the roaches in the ladies restroom! Tons and tons! Makes me think they ar win the...

Sadly, this establishment has really reached an all time low. This location used to be thee best one! But tonight, my two friends n I got an asada torta con todo, an asada burrito con too and I got 4 asada tacos con too. But "con todo" means "with everything" (i.e. onions, cilantro, salsa/Chile, etc...my tacos were literally JUST MEAT. (Not very much at all, and seriously not a spec of anything else! No onion no cilantro no salsa no salt no flavor at all! Then my bf's torta - just meat and lettuce! No beans, no avocado no salsa no salt no flavor at all, literally NOTHING ELSE! -IT WAS ALL BREAD! And last, the burrito - it was a 100% rice only burrito. Just a tortilla wrapped around a whole bunch of rice n that's it. Can u believe this? They must be doing pretty bad money-wise, I guess cuz from the looks of THIS food (or the lack thereof), this place is going under! Like within the next couple weeks or so...or perhaps they already did n now they're just trying to sell it til they've run out of every thING completely! Whatever the reason, this surely was a waste of our money and an extremely frustrating and aggravating experience which will not be had again by us! I would never go there again or recommend this...

On Sunday night around 2:00 am me and my husband had the worst fast food experience we both ever experienced in our lives we paid $50.00 dollars for the worst food quality we have ever seen our Birria tacos tasted like plastic and the meet was over cooked and chewy I ordered rice and beans for my 18 month old son and the rice was cold and had burnt pieces in it I also ordered a Torta de carnitas and it literally looked like they put it together with the meet that bin out all day and old lettuce didn’t bother to toast the bread on the stove top it was all cold and the worst part is it looked like when they finished it they put it on the floor and stomped on it because it was flat smh Needless to say we were better off eating a cuppa noodle at home if We could rate them negative...
