Skateland is AWESOME! Had a private party for my kiddos. Everyone that came out to celebrate had a blast!
Helen gives you a 15 minute window before your event starts to setup. I hadn't showed up yet (running late) and Helen gave me a courtesy call to make sure everything was okay! Thank you!
With the party packet I selected, I was able to bring in my own food. Skateland provided unlimited sodas for an additional charge. The playlist I created was played. Skate rentals were included but not the walkers for the individuals who do not know how to skate.
Skateland also does the cleaning after your private party. This is my own personal preference, but just be respectful and take care of the biggest part of your party mess. This helps ensure Skateland can open for the public session within those 30 minutes they have left after your...
Read moreThe place to be if you are looking for a fun and cheap activity. There's a "kids skate free" program that makes this really affordable for people with children. Really well priced and popular place to skate. On any given night there are skaters of every level, so be prepared to dodge some fallen skaters and be skirted by others. It's great for even very small children, there are skates of all sizes and those walker things. There are also roller blades to rent for a dollar extra if you don't like quads. It's fairly busy during the summer, but the music is great and everyone is really nice. The only bad thing is that it gets a bit hot with all the people in here in the summer, but there are fans blowing that provide a nice breeze and you almost don't notice the heat while...
Read moreOur family has been going to this roller rink since I can remember because it truly has the best rink. It is very hard to find a skating area that has the hardwood smooth-as-silk feel when you glide. Recently, I rented the rink for a private gathering and it was not only affordable but such a relaxed way to have the small ones find confidence. For a birthday party during business hours it is around $250-300 and renting it out is $400-450. You can bring your own dishes of food which is a bonus and getting soda there is easier than dealing with 2 liter bottles. The owners are family and have been passionate about the sport of roller derby so they keep their rink in tip-top shape. I have relocated to DTownLos Angeles and come up here just because the rink...
