The shrimp taco stands out. The shrimp are so big and bountiful that they don’t fit in the taco. First taco I’ve had served with a fork. The shrimp are bathed in ā€œgrilled pico de galloā€. This isn’t pico de gallo from the salsa bar. This is a smoky tangy molcajete sauce that’s pairs beautifully with the shrimp. I never knew you could cook the shrimp in this. It’s delicious - wipe up every drop. The large windows of the restaurant allow lots of light to enter. The cashier and kitchen area are bright and cheerful - not dark and hidden. A staff member was sweeping floors and wiping tables. I don’t see this in other restaurants currently. The food arrived at my table before I could remove my jacket.

For a little less than $40 we got 9 tacos- 3 each: shrimp, al pastor, chili verde. Really yum. Got chips and salsa with it. The shrimp ones came with 5-6 pieces of shrimp each and the chili verde was piled high as well and both full of flavor. We didn't even get to the al pastor yet as we just had those for lunch and are excited for dinner :) in our opinion, for bay area, worth every penny šŸ˜šŸ˜ The only thing is the tortillas seem to be just warmed up, not toasted on a grill like some places will do.

This restaurant was a great surprise! We planned on eating across the street, but their food service ended. We saw this Mexican restaurant with ample outside patio seating and knew what our option was! Very quick counter ordering, able to find a seat right away, and then the food came really quick! It was great! The nachos and taco plate were probably the best options that we had. Great little salsa bar as well.

Many years ago, I gave this neighborhood place five stars. Things have changed a lot in the kitchen since COVID, and not for the better. In three visits, we've been disappointed with the food. Shrimp and fish tacos have suffered the most. Meats are mostly still OK. I suspect new ownership, because the ways they prepare dishes have changed, and because we no longer recognize the people. Sad, because it's local to us, and we used to visit regularly.

Parking is easy in their good sized lot. Prices are fine. Seating both inside and outside is fine, but not fancy. The fresh squeezed juices are still great -- I order orange, my wife orders carrot. Salsas are fine and free, but pica de...

I really really tried to give this place a chance asz I'm local. But... am I the only one who sees how dirty this place is???? honestly? I've been a bit icky to my stomach a couple times, but last time was the worst... ordered tacos to go and they were jammed with stale salad. My tacos were soaked and impossible to eat as tacos. The meat wasn't good (al pastor). The guacamole felt like it had been there for three days. Please people consider where you're going and take a look around you. And please management... do something about how dirty it is. I lived in Mexico and never seen this to this extent. Sorry. But you really have...
