I really like this beach themed sandwich shop. I chose to get the Spicoli which is Sean Penn’s inspired meal named after his character in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. It was quite funny to hear the cashier say it was named after Matthew McConnaughey’s character but I had to tell him he had the wrong stoner movie. My dudette sandwich sister was a delight to engage. Too bad she couldn’t find me any chalk for the pool table due to some thieves walking off with the supply. I did have fun spanking some Cal Poly seniors at the pool table whilst they were taking the afternoon off from their studies.I’d invest in this family friendly restaurant if I was in the franchise business. It’s a great place that reminded me of my favorite sandwich shop from college in Athens, Ga: Loco’s… but anyway your sandwich served here will come on wax paper atop a frisbee embossed with their logo. If you’re wanting a big delicious sandwich that delivers taste and quantity get in line! They have some of the best sandwiches Holt here! Our go to is the Santa Cruz... pastrami bacon and more ( you can look up their menu). They gave a good asst of cold or hot melted sandwiches, salads and soup too. A cool choice of local beers too. Never been disappointed. It’s a bit pricey but you can feed two people easily with the x lg or get the large , which is slightly smaller, yeah right. NEver the less you tummy...
