this place has the worst service! the waitresses are RUDE! especially the eldest one that has been there the longest! according to everyone " she gets her way! the owner likes her!" when making a complaint. the story was we got her one night and she wouldn't let us order our food how we wanted it . would always interrupt and tell us that we wouldn't get it that way because this wasn't a " special order restaurant" confused? I explained to this individual that all I wanted was that the fries not be burnt to where my son and daughter couldn't eat with their meal? not sure why this caused her to go into defense mode? I also asked her if could I please have lightly toasted garlic bread? I went on to further explain that she didn't need to be RUDE after about 45 minuets of her bringing out COLD food , unfilled drinks, BURNT fries!, two of the baskets of food she brought out had two flies riding on the food . I watched her shoe them away making a rather unusual comment of we get those in here all the time they won't hurt nothing! and still expected us to eat that food! my husband and my family declined to eat their food ever again! it might be a small town and this place has been here for years .. but, the ownership has changed many hands! they are merely riding on the backs of reputation that was established before they took over. i wouldn't recommend this place as a stop . only day it is packed is SUNDAYS and that is because everything else is closed out of respect for our good ole church goers. come during the week.. you might see it with 10 waitresses and 10...

Do NOT eat here! Terrible, horrible service! My family has always loved the Pig but their customer service has gotten terrible. The girl who answers the phone is extremely rude and unhelpful. We’ve had several deaths in our family over the past year so we’ve ordered take-out multiple times for the family’s wake(s) - because that is what our family has always liked. The first time we called to order take-out and she was rude, we thought maybe she was having a bad day - which everyone does; the second time, she was rude again, but we persisted because this hasn’t been our experience in year’s past, so the third time, I asked my husband to call the order in to see if he had the same experience and sure enough, he did. We’ve spent a small fortune there over the past many months and we continued to give them chances - solely based on our experience from year’s past - but tonight, we called to place a personal take-out order, and lo and behold, the rude girl is back on the phone - taking orders again - but we didn’t even finish placing our order due to her rudeness. I should have listened to everyone else and went with Callahan BBQ - for all of our events and personal take-out orders - where the food and service are always pleasant and superior. Do yourself a favor and choose Callahan BBQ or any other restaurant in Callahan - where the folks are generally nice...

First off, every piece of silverware at the table I we sat at was filthy & had leftover food on them. Waitress never came back to our table for us to ask for clean silverware! Secondly, when our food was brought out, it was cold! My husband ordered a pork sandwich & fries - EXTRA crispy, I ordered 1/4 Chicken plate w/ field peas & side salad. His fries were NOT crispy, & COLD, along with his COLD sandwich on a stale bun! My chicken was COLD & DRY & the salad lettuce was BROWN! We sat there for 20 mins & our waitress NEVER came back to our table! When she finally came back with our ticket she seen we did NOT eat & said she was taking our ticket to BRENDA, which in return, said I still had to pay for my salad, & only knocked off $2.00 off the 1/4 Chicken plate price, & still made us pay FULL price for my husband's food!! So, needless to say, we spent $20 something bucks on food, we didn't touch! NEVER AGAIN will my husband & I ever step foot in The Pig in Callahan EVER AGAIN! If I could upload pictures to this review for everyone to see, I would so, others could see the filth we had to deal with due to poor service!
