I absolutely LOVE COJ. The bowls are a healthier alternative to those other places. Probably why some people would think they taste "bland" when you're use to artificial flavors and loaded sugars it ruins your palette and you are unable to experience the freshness of the ingredients that COJ uses in their products. As far as the atmosphere, I am looking forward to the future when they get their legs at this new location in Thorndale and set up some tables and gain more business where they can extend their hours and hire more staff so when things like emergencies happen patrons can understand that when your a small family owned business family comes 1st. Which I love and it is so important. As for my review on the food, AMAZING. I have tried a lot of the bows when traveling to the Pottstown location. Then tried the blue spurlina at W.C. and a smoothie for the 1st time in Thorndale. I definitely think blue spurlina in a small w/a sprout sandwich is my go to. It hits every time. Thank you COJ for coming to Thorndale and I wish you much success, happiness...

The Super Berry with Açaí & Blue Spirulina? Fresh, vibrant, and well-balanced without being overly sweet. The spirulina adds a subtle earthiness that works nicely.
The Strawberry Banana with Açaí? A classic done right. Smooth, creamy, and full of real fruit—no artificial flavors or syrupy overload.
I get sick when I have too much sugar, so I really appreciate that this place doesn’t dump sugar into everything. Just clean, refreshing flavors. Looking forward to trying their smoothie bowls next. Cup of Joy delivers.
One thing that would take Cup of Joy to the next level? A cute seating area and some good music. It would create a more inviting atmosphere, making it a spot to relax, chat, and enjoy rather than just grab and go. A great smoothie shop isn’t just about the drinks—it’s about the vibe. Looking forward to coming back, and hopefully, to seeing those little extras...
Read moreGot an açaí bowl and I was excited to have somewhere close to home to get açaí but I was disappointed so I will continue traveling further when I get the craving. I was skeptical and should’ve trusted my gut but gave Cup of Joy a chance - the açaí and granola were bland. I feel bad leaving the review because the people there seemed nice and service was good but I just threw it out because I was so disheartened with the lack of...
