Just had the best burger and milkshake ever at WayBack burgers at Thorndale. Highly recommend! I've been visiting this place and everytime I go there, I enjoy the Food and Service a lot. Thus, I'm here to share my Experience.
I've ordered the Big Easy and cheeeesy Burgers and Oh my, the burger and milkshake were amazing! I can't stop thinking about them. The burger was a flavor explosion. Perfectly cooked patty, juicy and with toppings that bursted with freshness. The first bite of the burger was pure heaven. Toasted bun, melty cheese, and a symphony of textures and flavors. I'm usually picky about burgers, but these Burgers at WayBack nailed it. The spicy sauce called 'Cajun remoulade' was the real star in my Big Easy, adding a unique and delicious twist.
I treated myself with a Brownie Milkshake and it is undoubtedly the King of all the Milk shakes. It was Thick, cold, and decadent, it hit the spot perfectly. Trust me you could feel the quality of the Ice cream and the flavour of the Brownie in each sip untill your Last sip. That shake was out of this world! So much better than the usual fast-food shakes.
And when it comes to the Ambience, I have visited this place 4 times till date and it is always clean, irrespective of Day, date and Time.... these guys are always clean. Have no second thought about Hygiene and Cleanliness. This spot is with impeccable cleanliness. From the sparkling windows to the spotless booths, every surface gleamed with care. It instantly created a sense of freshness and hygiene. Even the restrooms were spotless, well-stocked, and free of unpleasant odors.
The staff are very Friendly with a good service from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and great hospitality that set the tone for a truly wonderful time. The staff here suggest good Burgers according to your taste and preferences. My favorite Big Easy and Cheeeesy was suggest by a guy there which never disappointed me and have been my all time favorite till date. The staff's Professional service made our Dining experience truly memorable. We left this place feeling not just satisfied by the food, but also impressed and appreciated by the incredible service.
If you're looking for a seriously good burger and milkshake, head to WayBack at Thorndale. You won't be disappointed! " The food, Staff, Service and Ambience is of Top notch. This place is just became my new favorite spot for a delicious and satisfying meal. Can't wait to go back...
Read moreI ordered a burger, hotdog and two tater tots through Door Dash. When ordering tater tots, the website clearly states..Crispy tater tots served with your choice of dipping sauce, only the restaurant has turned off the special instructions in order to tell them what dipping sauce you would like. This has been this way with the Thorndale location for years now, much to my infoming them several times over the years about it. So instead, I asked my dasher to ask for two Chipotle dipping sauces, one for each order of tots. My dasher obliged, but the store would only allow them to have one. When the dasher informed me of this, I called the store, explained the situation, and was told back that I wasn't allowed to have dipping sauce with my order, which is why the store has turned off the special instructions. When I questioned why, they told me, had I called the store ahead of time, told them my door dasher was going to ask for these coveted sauces, they may have allowed it. (Thus defeating the purpose of ordering through Door Dash). My question is, what could make these tiny, half filled plastic containers of dipping sauce such a privilege to aquire? What could make that one extra dipping sauce so important that the store keeps it under such scrutiny, that only one can be had at a time? Apparently, these dipping sauces are the tipping point for this location. I'm reminded of the character of soup nazi from the tv show Seinfeld. "No dipping sauce for you!" Maybe they are concerned about my cholesterol and their mission is to keep me heart healthy? Is ketchup next? In my time, I have eaten at multiple Jake's Wayback locations over the years.(As I greatly enjoy their food). For some unknown reason, this dipping sauce issue has only plagued me at this one particular Thorndale location. If only we could somehow find a way to all enjoy the dipping sauces we want on our own time, with the freedom of of knowing , I...., can choose my own dipping sauce, in my own way, in as many a quantity I would like. Ahh, to dream of the future. For now...savour those dipping sauces my friends....it's all...
Read moreI had been at this location many years ago and opted not to come back, but after reading recent reviews and being under new management, I wanted to give it a shot.
I ordered the Double Bacon Burger ($10.29) “As-Is, minus pickle and tomato), Full Tots ($4.89) and a large fountain soda ($3.49) to dine in.
I was greeted at the counter and ordered taken by a nice employee. He reviewed what my order was, asked for a name and gave me my cup.
I chose a high top table against the wall and waited for lunch. Food was carried out and it looked fantastic! Burger wasn’t all squished together, it was stacked and looked like what was in the menu. Tots were golden and crunchy!!!
The burger is a smashed style, thin and pressed, cooked well to hold the juices. It tasted as good as it looked and so did the tots. I really enjoyed a burger that didn’t soak the bottom bun in grease (compared to Five Guys, which I am a fan of).
The price is comparable to others burger chains in the area but this was just a little better in my opinion.
Very clean and bright restaurant, had a nice appeal. Has a TV that is cycling top news stories and some classical piano music playing.
When I finished eating, I was asked how I enjoyed it. Good to see and hear people still take pride in what they do. Cooking and running a business is an art and this location did well...
