It is a complete crapshoot on whether your food is made properly. The first few times we ordered from this location, it was mostly fantastic. The manager, John, has been great to us. He never hesitated to make things right if anything was forgotten or if the app wasn’t working, etc etc… but I’m beginning to think he must have quit recently, which would be an absolute shame.
A week ago, I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Papadia for delivery and instead was given a BBQ chicken Papadia. The Papadia box was marked correctly, just didn’t have the right food inside. It was also extremely hard, like it had sat under a heat lamp for far too long. I had to throw it out. My husband called to let them know, (with the intention of having it remade,) however the man he spoke with (not John) told him that he’d refund his money and hung up.
I figured this was a one-off as sometimes mistakes happen, and ordered another Buffalo Chicken Papadia tonight. Not only was it a just a small pizza simply cut in half, but as you can see, there’s not even any Buffalo sauce on it.
By the time the order was delivered to my apartment, it was only 15 minutes til they closed. I tried calling for those entire 15 minutes straight, and was sent straight to hold every time I called, up until the store closed at 9. (I can’t confirm this, but it’s my firm belief that the staff working probably knew exactly who was calling and why, and the staff chose not to take the call because it was so close to closing.)
With no chance of getting the food remade, I decided to do what I could. After dousing it in franks red hot, I also discovered that it didn’t have any ranch either, which it should’ve had under the cheese. no sauce, no Buffalo sauce, just chicken and cheese on a pizza crust. It uh… it wasn’t great.
Order at your own risk… or just call and see if John is working first, because he’ll at least make sure your food is made properly. But if John isn’t working there anymore, I would have to recommend avoiding this Papa John’s entirely,...
Read moreI placed an order for 2 large pizzas with extra sauce on 6-14-24. When I got home, the pizzas had 𝘽𝘼𝙍𝙀𝙇𝙔 𝘼𝙉𝙔 sauce on it. I called to tell them they messed up the order. They agreed to bring 2 new pizzas but told me I had to pay a delivery fee. I told them I would not be paying that since I already had to pick up the order and it was wrong.
The new pizzas arrived about 1 hour later and there was even less sauce than the first 2 pizzas. The next day, I went to the store with the pizzas to show them how little sauce was on it. I also explained I wanted my money back. The associate who was working kept trying to explain he wasn’t working the previous day and that his manager would be in at 4pm (it was approximately 2:15 at the time). I told him I wouldn’t be waiting nor returning at 4pm and that when I left, I will be leaving without a full refund. After several minutes of going back and forth, he gave me the refund …he said it was from his pocket.
I will never purchase from here again. I DO NOT recommend buying from here. I’ve given this location numerous opportunities to get my order correct and they’ve failed miserably. In addition, their service is terrible. I doubt Papa John’s will do anything about this…but they have just lost a...
Read moreExtremely disappointed. If I could give 0 stars I would. Picked up a pizza my husband ordered online, and when I got home we opened the box and noticed the wrong toppings. It happens we're all human. The part that really frustrated me was when we called the Thorndale Papa John's several times, and each time waited 10+ minutes (not exaggerating) ! We ended up calling papa johns customer service. That was a joke. Customer service even tried contacting the store, and I kid you not he had no luck as well. He had us take a picture of the pizza and email it to him so he could email the store management. He said it could take up to 48hrs. Um.... All we wanted was our pizza remade, not wait 48 hours for a response! He ended up putting us on hold, and we just gave up drove back to the store. When we got there they said their phones were fine. Um..... Ok learn to pick it up when it rings. Not even an apology. Terrible customer service. I will NEVER spend another dime there. I rather spend more money for better customer service.
