Beggars Pizza — Restaurant in Calumet Township

I have been to this location a couple times the first time everything was right at expectations for Beggars Pizza. However when I visited 10/31/2024 it wasn't the best experience I pre-ordered a deep dish and boneless wings for 645pm. With this pre-order it gave the establishment over an hour to prepare my food. When I arrived my order was still not ready and I was given an ETA of 15 minutes this was kind of annoying but I understood it was Halloween and they did seem pretty busy. When I first arrived there was a small box up on the heater and the lady working the desk when asking the kitchen about my order only inquired about the pizza. I was so worried that my wings were already prepared in that small box and that the quality would be terrible. I was hoping they would do the right thing and re make them but they didn't and those were my wings and they were in fact not good. The lady at the front desk seemed overwhelmed and even though my order was sitting ready in the window when I returned she disappeared to the back area making me wait longer for the order I placed at this point about an hour and 40 mins for. She just needed to man her position and get the orders out that she did already have in the hot window. That was pretty annoying but overall I would go back just for the pizza because that wasn't bad I just would have liked the kitchen timing to be better so all parts of my order came out...

After initially waiting for my pizza, I was told told my pizza should be up in 10 minutes; only to find out someone else had my pizza after they were scrambling to find it. The cook wasn’t too happy that this had occurred, I did tell the young lady don’t worry it’s just pizza. I’ll wait for another one with a discount. I waited for another 10 minutes while another young lady came and tried to figure out what the discount will be. I decided after spending 45 minutes of my off day waiting for a pizza that I never received and waiting for her to calculate a discount. I told her to just cancel the order. I never received an apology or anything, needless to say I come her almost every week , now I’m reconsidering. Please be more professional because I exhibited an enormous.amount of patience. . I also was told the refund will go back right away and it hasn’t shown on my bank draft...

Whoever is the manager here needs to fire the cook I don't know the guy name but today is Sunday 8/24/2025 and it's the morning shift so my food coming out 25 late when I got there they said that they don't have turkey sausages of course I had a problem with it. So I asked why wasn't this told to me over the phone. The cook started curses saying I need to shut the hell up. I hate people it is what is I got here on time. The one lady not sure of her name she was trying to tell him to calm down. This was very uncomfortable and they way he was talking made me feel unsafe. I was afraid he might spit in my food or do he do that to anyone that has a problem with there food. I was told the cook name is Xavier. I will never...
