I ordered a Famous Star meal with onion rings and a Coke tonight. I asked for a small drink. I was told there were no small lids but I could upgrade to a medium if I wanted a lid. This was in the drive thru. I obviously can’t drive home without a lid. I did not want a medium and did not want to pay for a medium. I asked for a small, but said I needed a lid, so I requested the small be poured into a medium cup with a lid. Simple solution, or so I thought. At the window, I was handed my drink and the man at the window said in a snarky tone, “Here is your medium cup, with a small amount.” The cup was seriously less than half full. Considering the small is 20 ounces and the medium is 30 ounces, my expectation was it would be close to 2/3 full. The math is simple, but would be unnecessary had he just filled a small cup and poured it into the medium cup. From the tone in his voice, I could tell this wasn’t about math. He was being rude on purpose. I drove away upset and didn’t even realize until later that he also gave me fries instead of the onion rings I ordered. I tried to call the restaurant to speak with a manager, but the number on the receipt was not answered and appears to be for a fax machine. This was hands down the most unprofessional experience I’ve had with a fast food restaurant within the last ten years or more.

It’s become ridiculous when you wait in a long line, only to get your food and it’s cold. Patty literally looks like it was sitting and just thrown thrown together. This place is a complete rip off, nothing is made fresh to order. It’s my 3rd time here in the last 6 months and it’s the same experience every time. You would think if it’s busy your food would be made to order. I paid $21 didn’t even eat it. Calling corporate...

Came thru the drive thru was told to park. Make sure to check your bag before you drive off. They won't bring you everything you paid for. Also the condiments you tell them you need will not be in your bag. Just double check your stuff bad experience here. Had to get off and get my food that they forgot to put in my bag after being told to park I expected all my food to be in the bag. I don't think that's asking for too much.

1-8-2025: Beyond Belief: Ordered a Bacon Guacamole Burger that they are pushing right now. The absolute WORST burger ever made. Stale bun, cold burger, slopped on and very spicy 'so called' guacamole, missing tomato, only one tiny piece of cheese. Horrible flavor and quality for $7.99? Very, very awful experience. Feel like vomiting after trying to eat it! Don't buy this horrible burger and the quality was nauseating.

2-8-2023: Here we go again! This time I ordered a 3 piece chicken tenders. They were the size of my pinky or ring fingers. They used to be 3 times the size and then I tried to complete the receipt survey and you can no longer get to the site! Just about on my last straw to go here again! I used to go for years, but now it’s run as a joke with no way to provide feedback or get consistent food or service! Why is this location so bad? Do the owners care anymore?

2-1-2023: Now this time I specifically walked up to this location to get a deal on the app. When I got there, the app doesn’t load and they said it happens all the time! What good is the app to promote deals if you can’t get them? No resolution offered to get any deal whatsoever! Ridiculous way to do business, and I ended up having to pay full price (since I walked up and was hungry) which is already inflated compared to other fast food establishments! And now to top it off, only way to provide feedback is through a phone number where you never get connected!! Very bad business practices from top to bottom!

Still terrible quality from visit on 12-10-2022:

Gross! Completely stale and cold California Double Burger in every aspect, the bun, the burger meat, the lettuce, the tomato, the sauce! Horrible quality and a complete ripoff!! How does this location get any business? They never respond to my complaints and continue to have any concern to provide any product quality!!

Recent visit Experience on 2-8-2022 indicating this location still has issues with quality:

Ordered 2 California Classic Double Cheeseburgers, and both were terrible! The burger patties were very tiny, burnt and stale, the tomatoes were very tiny end pieces that were mushy and stale, the lettuce was almost non existent with a couple strands of shredded lettuce, was supposed to have cheese which was left off, almost no sauce and the buns were hard and stale! What a complete joke and rip-off! Complained on corporate site, doubt they will respond!

Ordered a Super Star Cheeseburger and onion rings. The burger had lukewarm gray colored meat, wilted lettuce, a soggy bun and a green tomato. The onion rings were very cold, rock hard, burnt, in pieces and totally inedible. How in the world can they serve such horrible...

I have always liked Carl's Jr. for the food. But there are a few things that are troublesome.

First is their cleanliness. Have you ever noticed that the tables at pretty.much any Carl's Jr are sticky? They have a film on them that is really gross. Take a napkin and wipe the table off using a lot of pressure. Then look at the napkin. You may not want your meal after that. Sometimes it is so bad you can even write your name in it!

Second, and I notice this with most fast food places, is the disparity in pricing for combo meals. Since a combo typically adds fries and a drink to a sandwich, you would think the cost would be consistent to add the combo to your meal. Not true! At this particular Carl's Jr, the difference in price between an a la carte sandwich and combo will cost you between $1.50 and $2.90. Yup, some combo add-ons are almost twice the cost depending on the sandwich you buy. That is not right. Double the cost for the exact same amount of fries and a drink. Yet, nobody says anything.

So, buyer beware. Most fast food places follow this practice. The only one that I know of that is truly legit with pricing is In-n-out. They charge for their combos exactly what the total of the individual items would be....
