I got takeout from these guys one time only, ordering quite a few items. So I can provide info on the food from one visit. I thought the food was passible, but not great, and the quality varied a bit depending on what dish it was. The highlight dish was the avacado curry.
My mother is a vegan and she likes the food here okay y, she recommends the yellow curry. We also ordered the avocado Curry which was very good, I thought it was the best dish we got. And also the red curry, which was also pretty good. I also got the Drunken Noodles which I thought were mediocre and the spicy Thai basil eggplant, which to my mind was not a Thai Basil dish at all. It wasn't spicy at all, like zero. I don't know if there were Thai chiles in it or not, it didn't seem like it. Plus the flavor profile was sweet. Not great, or what I wanted. I don't know if I will return to this restaurant I would say probably not. But on the chance that I did I would definitely order curry. That's my take...
Read moreAbsolutely LOVE Charn Thai! I'm a huge fan of curry, and they certainly do not disappoint in that field. I've had about 4 of the many different curry options they offer and I have always thoroughly enjoyed each one. I can't say much about their other dishes, as I always get curry, but I'm sure they have something for everyone as their menu is extremely extensive! My boyfriend loves mango & sticky rice for dessert and while Charn only offers it seasonally, when they do have it, he always orders & loves it. I've only ever had one bad service experience here, but it was a rather busy weekend night and the restaurant was totally full, so some mistakes & waiting was not too terrible... especially when the food is so amazing! I strongly urge you to try this place if you're a fan of great Thai food. As long as I live in the area, I will continue to eat at Charn Thai when I'm in the mood for the best...

The yellow curry had a "chili highlight" saying it was spicy, but that was not the case it was just a good balanced curry. The brown rice was on the check as purple and was the upscale kind my favorite restaurants serve.
I arrived in the peak of their Togo business and initially thought, this is going to take forever as only one visible server, however there was no need to worry. My order was taken and it appears dine in guests get priority over takeout orders.
My yellow curry was delicious with a generous amount of chicken. I had a side of peanut sauce which also was good and well balanced.
Very friendly and efficient staff and definitely if I lived in town would...
